The Container Store

The products they have here are awesome. They offer a range of really supplies and ideas for kitchen and bedrooms. Although I found the service not so great. The ladies are just hovering over you and they had the nerve to tell my teenage son (15) not to touch anything. He was looking at some lockers and storage bins. I felt really uncomfortable and they seem to be a little stuffy and uptight. I will not go back to this store and the behavior of the employees needs to change.

Customer service here is wonderful especially if you’re considering upgrading some closet space and getting a custom organized system.
Currently I’m all about re-​organizing and downsizing so proper storage is critical. I found some great boxes for the kids toys that were on sale (and they were better priced than Ross or TJ Maxx-​which is a first stop to hunt for bargains).
I also checked out their closet systems which are pricey to begin with but they are currently having a 30 percent off sale. They come in and take out your rods and shelves and put in a new sleeker system according to your needs. I was given all the information to consider so I’m definitely looking at their systems as a possibility.
Overall a great place to find some great home stuff to keep you tidy.

I discovered The Container Store by mistake while looking for something else on Unilocal* (awesome) and I am happy I did. It is exactly what the name says, a store of containers. But it is a fancy store filled with fancy containers. You can get a lot of what you find here at places like Walmart, Target, etc and likely for less at Walmart; but you won’t find the variety they have here, the organization and layout they offer and its much nicer shopping experience than a Walmart or Target so if you don’t mind spending a few more bucks then you should check this place out first.
Now I cannot say first hand that it is more/​less expensive. I found what I was looking for here and a whole lot more. Be prepared to exercise self restraint when you enter. If you’re at all like me and like to have everything in its place, this store will drive you mad because there is a box, bin, jar, etc for just about everything and anything you can think of. They even have Polar water bottles for $ 9.00 which has to be the cheapest I have seen them around…
Bottom-​line for me is, if you need a container where are you going to go? There are a lot of options out there and for me, I enjoyed my recent experience at The Container Store. I would suggest it to anyone who is in the market for an Airtight container to keep food/​coffee in, a bin for storing extra clothing or even a file cabinet for your tax returns. Sure there are cheaper alternatives around (well, maybe there are) but you won’t find another store quite like this one… at least I haven’t.

Typical container store. although it does seem a little smaller than the other ones I’ve been into lately. My wife and I swung by to get some ideas on some organization for our closet. The staff was friendly and the store clean.
I would love to build a new house and be able to come here and outfit the closets. Could make our life a bit easier.
