Trader Joe’s

Picking up a few things for my mother-​in-​law. This place has unique and one of a kind items. The store was clean and the staff was helpful.

This has got to be my new favorite store. The price for meat is kind of high and not as tender as the regular grocery store. I’ve tried the organic banana and veggies and let me tell you, you can taste the difference. I love their banana as and veggies. Service is always friendly. Lines aren’t ever too long. Oh by the way they who’ve cookie dough cheesecake. Yummo!!!

I might have to move out this way just to be over to this store. Amazing prices and friendly staff. It’s refreshing to see a store offer quality products at phenomenonal prices. Thank you.

Trader joes is the best! I was so excited when we got one here in The Woodlands!!! Only reason not 5 stars is meat selection, would like to see a butcher & fresh deli area vs prepackaged. However their cheese selection is the bomb! :)

Greatest grocery store and so happy there is one in the Woodlands area! I’ve found some favorites here! Love TJ brands! Taste is better and quality of food here is outstanding!

Best grocery store in the woodlands. Everyone knows you after a couple of times shopping there. Every question is answered. Once talking about gluten free products I received a two page list of everything in the store that was gluten free. I wanted a fish soup recipe and Arleen from Scotland was very helpful, not only did she tell me a recipe she went and picked out the fish for me!
I don’t know what I like more; the flowers, the fresh produce, the frozen foods, the wines, the stationary selection, the various breads.
Everything is GMO free. They even have the chip credit card readers which no other grocery store here has. They really care about their customers. I received free bags just because. Oh I forgot to mention, anytime I want to try something before purchasing it they will open it up and let me try it. What service is that! Some things are not for sale there like ziplock bags and bleach but that’s easy to purchase elsewhere and those aren’t items we put into our bodies. I adore my trader joes.

Having experienced TJ’s in both Texas and California, I have to put it down for my city! You have set the bar!
–I NEVER could find close parking in Cali.
–The patrons in California who shop here are SO self entitled and do not have the common courtesy to share the shopping isles
–Because there were so many people shopping there in California, all of the favorite items (looking at you, Pumpkin waffles) would sell out fast and I had to run a rat race to several locations to find things
But THIS Trader Joe’s has so much parking (I found a place right in front of the store), I rarely have to experience something selling out, there are bunches of items here that I never saw in California (probably from different suppliers), AND PEOPLE SHARE THE SHOPPING ISLES and say EXCUSE ME!
I just stand still sometimes and take it all in. Hope I don’t look too creepy. This Trader Joe’s in The Woodlands is the best.

If I had an extra thumb I would give them 3 thumbs up! No time for a long review but the service is excellent and selection is great for deciding to make healthier food choices and more creative meals. The employees provide great insight on recipes and ideas for store items. I was trying to decide on the butternut squash n they just gave me an extra pack in case I liked it :) how cool is that?! I also noticed I was missing an item in my bag when I got home one time, so I called n they said no problem just pick one up the next time u come! Sure enough, I got the next go round. Needless to say the butternut squash was all I hoped it would be… n more n I am excited to keep trying new things from here! This is like a field trip for me n my daughter :) lol!

This TJs has a great selection of flowers for a variety of prices, a wonderful, organic selection of produce, and tons of store brand options of anything and everything food related! The Trader Joes brand items are consistently delicious. As compared to other trendy, «green» grocery stores, Trader Joes is much more affordable (comparing to say Whole Foods and Central Market).
Going to TJs can be like an event, go up and down all of the aisles, browse the unique products, and make sure to pick up some wine!
Why 4 stars instead of 5? Trader Joes is notorious for great customer service, and I just have yet to feel that at this location. For example, my husband and I waited at the little «sample station» for an awkward 2 – 3 minutes waiting for a taste while 3 employees stood right in front of us gabbing. The location is crowded and thus lines are long. Not a total deterrence, but be forewarned!

This place has a nice selection of foods that has really great packaging and good quality foods. I see why people come here. This is going to be very strange for me to say this but I didn’t fell welcome here. That is why I am writing this review. It appears as if they cater to a certain crowd. Can’t even believe I’m saying this but after seeing how they treated the very few people of color including myself. Kind of uncomfortable saying this Bc I normally don’t say anything.
Not sure I will return. It was more like quickly appeasing you to get you in and out of the store as oppose to others greeting you very warmly by multiple people and making small chat and ensuring that you drive safe and so forth. I think I’ll stay shopping in the galleria where there is a diverse crowd.

I love this place! I shop here at least once a week and I have never had bad service. Everyone is always so nice. The best part, if you want to try something just let them know. They will open it up right then and there for you to try. I recommend hitting the sample area. It’s a great way to try new products and get new recipe ideas. Also, if you buy something and don’t like it, just bring it back. No hassle returns. They want you to be happy with your purchase. I once bought some of their k-​cups and they leaked when I would use them. I brought them back and they made a report of it so the problem could be investigated.
They have new products every time I go and I’m always pleased with their food. They have a wonderful organic produce section and the prices are very reasonable. I love their premade salads and sandwiches. I take them for my work lunch all the time. My dogs love their dog treats too.

Well today was a first for me I’ve never been to Traders Joe and I definitely doubt I’ll be back. I wasnt impressed with the store at all. Didnt see what all the hype is about this place. Its a small grocery store that carries thier own brands. I live in the Northside of houston and drove all the way to the Woodlands. The one thing that made me go there was the apple blossoms which I was craving so we drove over. The apple blossoms are not worth the drive…

Trader Joes is a wonderful store! They have a wide selection of deserts. They always give good food at the sample booth. I always loved going to Trader Joes when I was little and I lived in California I’m happy they moved to are area! I Trader Joes!!!

I love Trader Joe’s in general, but the workers at this store are extra friendly and helpful! Special things to look for at Trader Joe’s:
–Cauliflower rice
–Cookie Butter
–selection of craft beer
–2 Buck Chuck (Charles Shaw Trader Joe’s wine for $ 2.99)
Trader Joe’s is also a great place to run in and grab a lunch to go.

Can’t live without Trader Joes! The chicken carne asada is perfect for grilling and ready to go straight to the grill.

COOKIE BUTTER!
so many different types of cookie butter. and so many helpful employees that direct you to try different types of cookie butter and give you their personal cookie butter recipes. did i mention cookie butter???
other than the cookie butter, i LOVE trader joe’s. this spot is a bit smaller than what i am used to, but it was fine. they still had everything i needed. such a wonderful cookie butter experience at this woodland’s location :)

I love Trader Joe’s when I used to travel for work on the West Coast alot. When they opened this location near my house, it was perfect! Though it has been opened for 2 years or so, I actually just stepped foot in it the day after Christmas in 2014. It is about 8 – 9 miles from my house but just got too busy with life to venture out to good old Trader Joe’s and also I knew I would end up overspending. So now being back in a Trader Joe’s you better believe I ended up putting almost everything in my cart!
What I love about Trader Joe’s is that they have great prices on produce. $ 1.99 for a big bag of spinach or romaine lettuce? Such a bargain considering I pay 3x that amount at our local grocery stores. I picked up a bag of each and got already cut butternut squash that you can microwave in the bag! Mmmm, just add a bit of salt and it makes a great healthy side dish. Oh I also found the coolest tofu product. You know how tofu is sold in a big block in a container? Well, here, they have tofu that is the same size but get this, it is divided into two separate smaller containers! This is perfect for me cause I bring fresh tofu to work and add to miso soup or ramen and having an individual serving of tofu package is wonderful so that I do not have to store the remainder in the fridge.
Other things I picked up was of course the mochi ice cream since they have a great price on it and cocoa swirl cookie butter. Also got frozen Tom Yum Soup and pad see ewe. I always had good experiences with their frozen items so I felt I would be in for a great meal with these pick ups. I will not go into too much more detail of what else I got but for sure this place has the best snacks and candy! :)
This store is kid friendly too. They have stickers and coloring pages and lollipops (organic!) at the register area. On this trip my 2 year old son was given a strip of stickers. Like at least 4 or 5 good stickers, not tiny little ones. He was happy.
I would come back when I have more self control. :)

Being a California native, it’s always exciting to know that somewhere out there, there is a Trader Joe’s. As one of the previous reviews mentioned, this is probably the best and possibly biggest Trader Joe’s I’ve been to (possibly?). The store is clean and has plenty of space to wander around while you look for the stuff you need, and stumble upon something new and exciting.
Aside from regularly purchasing their fresh and organic produce, the other usual items I tend to buy include: pita and hummus — unfortunately due to a bacteria scare (Listeria) the edamame hummus has been recalled, BUT their regular hummus is just as delicious. I don’t know if I’m overestimating here but Trader Joe’s has the BEST frozen dinners. I am a frozen food fiend, I really like their Indian frozen food, frozen naan bread, and surprisingly enough their frozen wonton soup. If you don’t believe me/​trust me, I DARE you to try it!
Being the holiday season and all, I took advantage and bought some pumpkin bread/​muffin mix and their two buck Chuck. With holiday parties coming up, I don’t like going empty handed; if there is one thing I want for you the READER OF THIS REVIEW to get from this: you cannot go wrong with their Merlot and Shiraz wine and the pumpkin mix.

I won’t live anywhere I can’t find a Trader Joe’s. I feel right at home when I walk in and find all my favorite goodies. The customer service is always stellar and who doesn’t come here for Two-​Buck Chuck? (coined name for the cheap tasty wine)
The frozen section is awesome so go slow when walking down this aisle. Let me share some things that make it to my basket.
Macaroni and cheese (frozen) seems to always make it in my basket-​and it should make it into yours. It’s ooeeeyyyy, goooeeey, cheeezzy, and yummy.
The turkey corn dogs are another kid favorite (and sometimes I can’t help myself). Just a minute in the microwave and you’ve got a «healthy» carnival treat.
Take home a bag of the chicken breasts. These guys can be cooked FROZEN. Yep. Just toss it in a sauté pan with your favorite sauce and you’ve got a meal in a second.
Chicken Tiki Masala and Butter Chicken and the Garlic Naan are a quick Indian night dinner. Get the mango yogurt in the dairy section and you’ve got a mango lassee to drink.
So many items… blueberry waffles, margherita pizza, tiny chocolate ice cream cones, Green Tea Mochi, Orange chicken, Green chile tamales, mmmm all delicious.
The ready-​made salads (Roasted butternut squash and Quinoa & the Country Italian is a favorite) and wraps (Vietnamese and the Chicken Tarragon), make a quick easy lunch and who can resist the gluten free crispy thin chocolate chip cookies or the zucchini carrot bread?
Also, you should grab some ready-​made lasagna-​just pop in the microwave and dinner is ready in four minutes!
If you’re having a party this is the place to go: The blueberry goat cheese roll is a party favorite, Arancini bites, Raisin Rosemary crisps, chocolate covered pretzels and cheerios are a tempting snack. The roasted tomatillo yellow salsa is perfect in a pinch, and be sure and grab a bottle of the Sweet Chili sauce for those frozen potstickers. Another must have is the roasted red pepper spread! Perfect on toasted ciabatta. Grab a box of the Gorgonzola crackers I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Another favorite is their selection of creamy pasta sauces and pappardelle lemon pasta. The snack aisle offers vegetable sticks which are addicting and crunchy seaweed is always a healthy treat.
Orange juice is only $ 1.99 here! I love their Pineapple juice too. They run out of items very quickly so they need to get on top of their purchasing-it’s very annoying when you drive here for specific items only to find out, «We’re out».
We’re entering into the fall season so I’ll be making my rounds searching for my favorite fall items like the
Apple Spice cake mix and the pumpkin spice bread mix is already out!
Halloween «oreos» called Joe-​Joes are cute and cut out like jack-​o-​lanterns.
