Great little Cajun restuarant hidden from the world. Cool old school looking building and a mean chicken stew for lunch. Heard the fried chicken is their specialty.

One of the last, authentic, creole cajun restaurants in the bayou region. Without Unilocal or a personal recommendation, I doubt you would find or want to stop at this place based on its no frills exterior; however, going inside once will keep you coming back. If you are from out of town and want to try some authentic cajun homestyle recipes… this is your place. Crawfish, froglegs, oysters are all on the menu. That being said, the real star on the menu is the fried chicken. Its nothing exotic, no overly heavy or creative batters or seasonings and no creative descriptions to attract or entice a foodie. It is, however, the benchmark dish that use any time I order fried chicken in upscale restaurants and roadside dives throughout the United States. It is crispy, juicy, and has a certain umami to it that you wont forget. Boudreauxs: Fried Chicken as Lombardis: Coal Fired Pizza.

Went here last weekend. It was super old school Cajun food, the Turtle Piquant was the best I have ever had. No frills but great service and food.

This place is a Chackbay legend. No thrills served with local cajun food. It is not near the big metropolis of Thibodaux so is often overlooked by most people. But the locals know it and frequent it regularly. So when you are visiting Thibodaux, take the 8-minute drive to Boudreaux’s. You can thank me later.
