The metalwork art here is some of my favorite, like ever. It literally makes me think I need to move into my own house just so I have the opportunity to buy and display it. The artist, one of them at least, was here when we visited. He was a nice guy and made me feel even better about buying stuff I already wanted. The stand out things though are the buttons. If you go, you’ll definitely see the buttons. I’ve purchased some every time I’ve been to Thomas, for me and for others. Some are simply cute, but others are quite clever or something a literary person would adore. Think plays on famous book titles(«Still Life with Life»), misattributed philosophical quotes(«The unexamined life is not worth living» — Plato), and general statement buttons(I *heart* polar bears). Definitely recommend going here, especially if you’re in town for a show at The Purple Fiddle.

Awesome gallery in the tiny town of Thomas, WV. We stopped here on the way back to DC from Monongahela National Forest. Lots of great art in here that’s a variety of media. Photography, paintings, sculptures, prints, etc… They have work that’s at all price points as well. Finally, part of the gallery is their work studio and it was so interesting to see some work in progress. It’s definitely worth stopping here to check it out!

The Thomas/Davis area is loaded with art of all kinds. But the White Room is where we spent the most time browsing. They feature some street art, which is a personal favorite. They also feature ceramic, cloth, photography, managed photography, pins, and greeting cards. Repurposed steel wall art and mobiles. It’s great to browse here!

One of the best art galleries of its kind! Tucked into a really charming town, this gallery is full of quaint, impressive, impactful artistic musings. If you’re in the area, this is a must-see. Don’t be afraid to look around — the owner is very nice and welcoming!

An interesting and eclectic art gallery. There were some cool displays and things to look at. The found metal lamp/chandelier sculptures were the best in my opinion. Everyone there seemed to be entranced by the hanging door of buttons though, which were also the cheapest things there.

After lunch at the Purple Fiddle, we took a walk around and stopped in at The White Room. I’m surprised to find they were not on Unilocal. We really enjoyed this gallery more than any other in the area. The art was original and thoughtful. It was not a craft store with some art mixed in as was the case with some of the other galleries. This gallery was certainly young, hip, and fresh! Well worth a visit if your in the area! We purchased a nice 16×20 print of multiple Polaroid photos of intimate images of the area.
