If you are near Thomaston pull into this run-down old drive in for a little entertainment and a killer barbecue sandwich. Order the BBQ deluxe then sit back and watch the car hops serve a mixture of people there while you wait on your food. The bbq is served on a toasted bun with a little chopped, soggy lettuce and a vinegar based sauce. The fries are hand cut and perfectly greasy in just the right way Wash it down with a coke served over finely crushed ice. Enjoy and repeat when you are in the area. If you do not enjoy pour out the coke and use the awesome ice for a mixed drink.

I have been eating here for over 50 years. The burgers and stew are as good as ever, but as far as the BBQ goes, they are living off of their reputation.

Old fashion drive-in place. You order from your car and they bring it out to you. The BBQ was meaty and cooked ok, and the portions were big, but they use vinegar base sauce which I don’t care for. Ok for occasional lunch, but won’t be a regular

From Thomaston and no longer live there but everyone I know who goes back to visit has to get their Piggie Park fix before leaving town. Best bbq and fries. A must stop if traveling on Hwy 19 through Thomaston.

Amazing hamburgers… loose parties with an onion flavor(but they’re so fine you can’t really tell they’re there)…the burgers come with lettuce and BBQ sauce(sounds weird, but oh so good!) The chili dogs are great, but it’s the hamburgers that keep me coming back. They serve thin, shoe-string type fries that are fantastic. Flaky ice in the cokes… and my mom swears the milkshakes are wonderful. If you are EVER in or even near Thomaston, it is definitely worth the trip. Your car will smell like hamburgers for a week(it’s a drive-in setup), but once the smell wears off, you’ll be ready for your next trip to Piggie Park!

My husband calls this place the archetypal, modern era, mass-produced yet local awesome BBQ experience ever. Not BBQ proper but more authentic than other corporate establishments(and they put a slice of pickle on the BBQ). This place has been around for years. They sell BBQ by the pound too and proper milkshakes. It’s a drive-in. You can eat on a tray provided in your car. So old school! Whatever you do, don’t order the fish sandwich though(- one star for that).
