Pulled pork better than average while sliced brisket was dry, tough and not smoked adequately. Sweet potatoe fries good while fried okra and fried pickles were disappointing. Would not go back.

Very disappointing meal. The best part was the fries because they were cut fresh. Even those weren’t good because they were drastically oversalted. Can I count the tea? It was not bad. We arrived on a midweek evening at around 7:30. There was hardly anyone in the place so i figured we wouldn’t have to wait long for food, but I was wrong. When our order was finally done, i was on my 2nd refill of tea. Portion size was large, but the brisket was overcooked & bland. Very tough to chew so I left a bunch on the plate. Mac & cheese was cold & gummy. Fried pickles were brought out cold. When we sent them back, they just recooked the original order. The manager spent a lot of time apologizing to us and others for the food. This may be an excellent restaurant and we just caught it on a bad night. However, I’m not willing to give it another chance.

Driving through Thomasville, on the way to Valdosta, I stopped at Granddaddy’s because reviews on Unilocal looked really good. Well, it did not disappoint! The staff was super-friendly. I told them this was my first time and what was the best thing to get for lunch. He said, «bar-none, the pulled pork sandwich.» I was able to get that with fries and tea for under 10 bucks — not a bad deal! The pork was tasty, tender and plenty of it on a freshly made bun. I tried all their sauces and really liked their basic, sweet sauce. Would’ve enjoyed the sandwich even more if there was some slaw on it, but I’m not complaining. It was a very good sandwich. Fries were fresh-cut, crispy, hot and salted just right. All that and, of course, a tall glass of Georgia sweet tea. A really good lunch and back on the road in no time. If I’m ever back this way, I’m definitely stopping here again.

This place was a waste of a lunch. I couldn’t tell if I waa eating pork or cardboard. None of the six of us had anything worth having. Ribs, stew beans, potatos and pulled pork all were without flavor.

Incredible food! Unfortunately they were out beef brisket but the pulled pork was so good. Juicy, not dry, and great BBQ sauce. I will definitely be going back!

Had lunch here today. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. Pork sandwich was good bit the fries were salted excessively. Couldn’t eat the fries. Restaurant appeared clean and kept. Staff was friendly and happy. Will try the ribs when I return.

Great Barbeque! just follow my lead the next time you visit: Ribs(of course), brunswick stew, potato salad, half sweetened and half non-sweetened iced tea, and chocolate pecan pie. What? Im in heaven, right? man, that potato salad really tied the meal together.

Excellent BBQ, had the ribs and pulled pork combo with homemade fries and fried okra(okay it’s a southern thing). A big piece of Texas toast also came with the dinner. All of the meat was served dry so that you could sauce to your level. They had a choice of three BBQ sauces you could select from, mild traditional southern(maybe a hint of Texas), hot and a mustard base sauce. I tried all three with the hot being my favorite. My traveling companion had the brisket and ribs which was noted to be excellent. They served up the usual ice tea, sweet tea and soda to wash down the excellent BBQ. If you have the chance an excellent place for BBQ and I am told by business associates that it also serves up an excellent breakfast. This place is now a must for me when I travel in the Thomasville area!
