I’m really surprised by some of the bad reviews. I will admit that we weren’t surprised to see Olive Garden close down(staff was great but food was horrible — even for Olive Garden), but we never had an issue with Red Lobster and when they both closed we needed another go to place for when family visits besides George and Louie’s, who we also highly recommend. We gave LongHorn’s a try and have never been disappointed, I have a hard time ordering anything else but the Outlaw Ribeye because a really good ribeye is my weakness, but my boyfriend, mom and grandma always order something different and are always happy with what they get. I don’t drink often anymore, so I love that they mix their drinks just right… it isn’t always easy finding a place that consistently makes drinks how you like them. Their appetizers are always good, my only complaint being that some of them are not as big as I would like… but I think they’ve worked on that. We always order the spicy/sweet calamari and it seems like you get less lettuce and more calamari now. Again, not really sure where the bad reviews are coming from, we’ve always had great waitresses that are helpful but not in your face constantly, and the food is consistently great. I actually was pleasantly surprised how good the food is, we have LongHorn Steakhouse locations in Michigan but I didn’t try them out until we moved to Georgia. They are often busy, so I would think it’s just a case of those that like LongHorn’s not coming out to say so???

Food and drinks are good but very bad odor in the waiting area. Smelled like sour milk/mildew.Just couldn’t wait like that. Went to a nearby restaurant and it was great. Longhorns used to be my favorite restaurant.

This place isn’t sinking… It’s sunk… Hopefully they will follow suit of other Darden restaurants Olive Garden and Red Lobster who built, opened, admitted they were huge flops, and closed accordingly. Please move on so a real restaurant can utilize the space and hopefully be able to provide a hassle free dining experience. The incompetency is so complete, I am guessing it is intentional. My LAST, and I do mean last, attempt to have a meal here, actually angered me. NOT the dining experience I want to drop $ 50.00 for… or even $ 5.00…

Very poor service, waitress never came back to see if our food was okay until we had finished eating. We told her the hamburger was not very good, no flavor and over cooked. The helpers were good they brought our food and refilled our drinks. The waitress was too busy chatting with her friends at other tables. The manager came over asked if we wanted a hamburger to go?. What a strange way to handle it. We waited a long time, at least 40 minutes for our food at 2 pm. The restaurant was not busy, maybe 5 or 6 tables total. We have eaten at Longhorn in other cities and have never had such lousy food and service!

It’s hard to give this establishment a rating. I was visiting Thomasville this past week. Having enjoyed so many Southern cuisines decided a good steak would be a pleasant choice. Upon entering the host was so preoccupied on the phone that our reservation for seating was never taken. A few minutes later other patrons were entering to the point there were about 12 people waiting to be seated. The bar area had not been cleared nor several other seating areas that were loaded. No one seemed concerned that the tables were not being cleared, patrons were waiting to be seated and the manager was engaged in a discussion with another employee. Needless to say after about a 20 min wait and lack of service, Applebee’s was the diner of choice.

Very poor management. Took 15 min just to get our drinks. News flash. French onion soup should be served hot. It’s not gazpacho. And when you try again it should be hot. Did I mention it should be hot! Forget it. I wasn’t hungry anyway. On a side note. The waitstaff was very apologetic.

Can’t say for the food, but can confirm that the host staff is utterly incompetent. We were told 15 minutes, have waited 40, looking at empty tables and several tables that got here after us have been seated. Don’t come here.

I’ve had better at other Longhorn restaurants. My ribeye was tough and cooked slightly under how I ordered it, medium. I never got the side salad I ordered, even after I asked about it. It was late and we didn’t want fast food.

We really enjoy eating here. All the wait staff are good, and management seems to really care about the patrons. The food is always good, too. We love their salmon.
