Mazatlan

This is my family’s favorite Mexican restaurant in town! Our food is always great and always quick to come out! I usually get the Mexican cheesesteak which is amazing and my husband says the chile rellenos are the best he’s had… you should stop here and eat if in town and the waiter we had tonight, Trevor, was really on top of it, he kept our drinks filled and made sure we were good the whole time! :)

Always really good here, fast service the food came out perfect and quickly, other places in Thomasville would do well to come in here and get a few pointers on how customer service is supposed to be done. I will be back and more than likely order the exact same thing again.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I have been to. The people are really friendly and the prices and specials are awesome.

To preface, I am just a passer through on business, so I rely on Unilocal to get me to the best places! After reading the reviews on this place and the surrounding Mexican places, it was decided where I shall go!
Truthfully I wasn’t expecting more than a cookie cutter type of «hometown» Mexican place with the normal food you expect… I was slightly wrong with this place. The reviews were decently right, it was not by far the best I have ever had, but it was better than a lot that I’ve had around the south. The food didn’t seem to be as manufactured as most Mexican places, the sauces had good flavor, the tamales were great size and the service was spot on.
If I ever end up blowing through Thomasville again, while craving Mexican, I will definitely stop in!
I was a little sad that I couldn’t get a margarita to go with my tamale, but luckily their food held it’s own!

Two words: Taco Tuesdays!
Tuesdays they have $ 0.99 tacos, hard or soft. Best deal around!

Best Mexican restaurant in Thomasville and surrounding areas. I had the Hot Tamales and they were delicious. It’s a small family owned establishment so they unfortunately don’t serve alcohol. Food is 5 star worthy. Only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because the waitress was not very responsive and she didn’t know the menu.

For T-​ville I will give 4 stars even though I feel like they need to serve beer to really earn 4 at a mexican restaurant. The food and service is good.

Best Mexican food in Thomasville… no alcohol

I always enjoy eating at mazatlan. Food is very good. My favorite is the «New Mexican Chicken». Basically ACP with mushrooms and onions. Very tasty! Salsa is good. Just be aware that they do not serve alcohol. As I’m not a drinker it didn’t affect me at all, but some in the group were disappointed. The service is always excellent.

I stopped in here for a quick bite before work. They have a voluminous menu and that alone makes it difficult to decide. I figured that I would start off with a plate of cheese and meat nachos. They pile them high with lots of ground beef and blanco queso. They don’t really seem to put any sort of spices or other seasoning into the ground beef (perhaps its more authentic that way). While it was good, it was not great, but they pile it so high that I not only didn’t have enough room for anything else, I left some over on the plate itself.
Service is very attentive. The locals seemed to be enjoying their meals. I’d be curious to try their fajitas if I am ever back this way. They didn’t seem to have a dessert menu to speak of.
