This is an excellent place to shop, if you are a common sense person that appreciates quality and good prices. I have done business here for 20+ years, so I can attest to the fact Shuler Meats can not be beat on fresh cuts of meat. I have ordered whole hogs, as Angela G. did below. I have never, ever experienced any of the negative issues she claims to have experienced. Sure, Shuler’s can get busy, just be an adult about it and have some patience. It is a LARGE family owned place with a lot going on. Have patience and appreciate you are able to buy such high quality at such low prices. Thanks, Shuler’s!!!

I have lived in the area for 27 years and have been going to Shuler Meats since he was in the small building. I always purchase meats from here instead of the grocery stores. I have always walked in, told them what I want and they bring it out to me. The quality of meat, and selection are always GREAT! Keep up the good work!

Placed an order 30 days in advance and put down a deposit for a dressed piglet, with head and feet removed, with a promised weight of 75lbs. Called twice prior to pick up to ensure my order was ready and was told it would be ready when I arrived. When I got to Shuler’s to get the pig, I was told the smallest pig they currently had was 125 lbs and not only would I now have to pay for an aditional 50lbs of pork, but I would have to wait while they dressed it. I will not be ordering *anything* from Shuler meats in the future. Very disorganized, extremely poor customer service, and absolutely no follow through with what they promise their customers.
