SEAMSTRESS SERVICES ONLY REVIEW
I’m sure it’s pretty clear by now, but I’m only submitting a review for the seamstress services. I may go back at a later date to review their dry cleaning services but I haven’t completely decided.
I specifically saught out this destination because a family friend recommended this place. I just moved to the area and had hoped to find some good suggestions on Unilocal but to my surprise this business nor many other businesses have reviews. Elite status here I come! Time to get writing and reviewing lol
Anywho, I came in on an early Monday afternoon with my brand new work pants ready to make a few alterations and was informed that the seamstress wouldn’t be in until 5:00 pm (which was only about an hour away.) The friendly employee took down my information and informed me that I’d be getting a call to schedule an appointment. I shared that I would be staying in the area in hopes that the seamstress might be able to see me that day when she made her daily pick-​ups and drop offs. My sister and I killed some time at the local Walmart finally it was 5:30pm and we had heard nothing from this amazing woman who was going to relieve my pant problems. Sadly, I ended up going home with a big frown on my face but secretly hoped that she’d call that evening.
The next day I called to follow up on my request but was informed that the seamstress hadn’t come in the day before but should be coming in today and my message was still waiting for her. I tried to find another way to connect with lady talent and was offered her home number but decided to pass because she had no idea who I was and I felt as though calling her was a little too personal combined with a hint of creepy so again I decided to wait. It’s Wednesday night (technically Thursday because it’s so late at night) I’ve heard nothing so I’ve made the decision to pursue another business. I must admit I’m pretty disappointed because I wanted this to workout but the world will go on :) i’m even thinking about putting mom’s skills to the test to see if she can put some stitches in my new pants.
