The other Sis is in town, and we needed something to do. She is a fan of nature, all the flora and fauna and such. She had went to several parks in the area, and even went to this park once. She enjoyed the first time at the park, so we decided to hit it up, since I had never been there. As the name implies, it is located on Morris Bridge Road, after the Flatwoods entrance. There are multiple entrances to trails along the road, so I suggest to GPS it, just in case. The park does not look like much when you arrive. In fact, I was a little skeptical about what we were doing there. However, there are multiple trails for walking and biking. There are also places to put your canoe or kayak into the Hillsborough River. We choose to walk the River Outlook trail, which was a little over 2 miles altogether. This trail was really nice because it was surrounded by low water and trees. You end up at a little wooden outlook over the river, as the name promises. There is also the option of the main trail, or several other trails that seemed strictly for biking. We also went on a short boardwalk through the woods. All-in-all it twas a good time. Except for the sweat trickling down my back…
