Red Wing Shoe Store

Got great customer service. They even fixed a pair of my old boots. They explain all features. Would recommend not only the boots but the staff at this location. Very knowledgeable and genuinely helpful then most places I’ve been too.

Called up the store due to the Red Wing Boots I bought and wore only for 2 weeks shrunk. Could not get them on. Henry was very hard to talk to because he kept cutting me off and talking over me. First saying I bought the wrong size and than calling me a lair. I didn’t want to go to the store and asked for the name and address for the cobbler they use. He told me I had to come down the the store first.
Went down to the store the next day. Brad seemed to be really helpful and have a idea to fix them. Henry jump in and cut Brad off refusing to let him finish. Told me I had to throw a way my brand new boots. I tried to keep talking to Brad but Henry kept over talking everyone. I told Henry I was done talking to him and was talking to Brad. Henry responded by getting right in my face like he wanted to start fighting. Which I backed up and told to him get the hell a way from me. Which he responded by telling his coworkers to call 911. They both looked at him like he was crazy, neither made the phone called. Their was another customer in the store as well. Henry had also said boots don’t shrink and that my boots were fried. I don’t know the difference. Brad got me the business card for the cobbler and I got the hell out of there!
Went to the cobbler were the guy behind the counter said he never saw a pair of boots shrink so bad. He said he was surprised that they looked brand new. But he could fix them!
And to make a full disclosure my buddy got these boots with his safety points through his company. I understand I don’t have a receipt and that is on me. I do not and never did expect Red Wing to replace them. All I wanted is to try and get these boots fixed. If Red Wing offered to help out with the cost that would be cool but not expected. I did have 2 coats of Red Wing Natureseal on them.
