I really enjoy the culture of Taco Johns! When going through the drive through, the employee introduced himself by name and was extremely polite. The food is always delicious and never just thrown in the bag! The tater toots with seasoning are my favorite! If you want to feel American culture and have a taste for Mexican food. Taco John is the place to go!

Taco Bravo… can’t go wrong. Clean, polite, fast, fresh and hot. Lunch on the run is the best for fast.

Upon my friends recommendation, I tried this place with him last night. I just got one taco and it was ice cold. his entire meal(aside from the weird little tater tots) was ice cold, as well. I am not even sure how you can get a taco to be this cold… they get one star for defying science.

I have always been compelled to go to Taco Johns. I ended up living close to one, so gave it a shot. I was disappointed. Food was bland and not many choices. I wish I would have went to Taco Bell instead.

The manager for this establishment is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. He continues to threaten clients and community members because of his«bottom line» Maybe if he looked inside of himself, he would see why is business is failing and poor. Please avoid this place like the black plague

Potato Oles are the best thing around, I come to Taco Johns just to get them. They have a delicious seasoning on top, they are little bits of fried salty goodness. The churros here are legit too!

The potato olés are the only good things this place has to offer. Make sure you get a side of nacho cheese and sour cream for dipping. The garlicky crispy potato rounds don’t disappoint. The tacos on the other hand are another story. They are stuffed with greasy«beef,» cheese, and lettuce with little flavor. I had to top mine with sour cream, nacho cheese, hot sauce, and salsa in order to try to add a bit of spice. The soggy taco shells go nicely with the mushy beef! I’ve had better tacos for less, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else… unless you’re only going for the olés.

Taco Tuesday! Taco Tuesday! Growing up in Nebraska, that familiar jingle was ingrained in my head for Taco John’s. I’m not even sure they still do Taco Tuesday, I do know they still have potato olé’s, crispy little hash brown wheels of garlicky goodness that are a total guilty pleasure. If you truly hate your arteries, order the meat and potato burrito, overstuffed eith ground beef, sour cream, nacho cheese and potato olé’s. Oh, and lettuce and tomato — you know, cuz ya need a veggie or two in there! Insider’s tip: they have a salsa bar in the store with real pico de gallo as well as tomatillo salsa!

Yes.yes.YES! Taco Johns brings back many memories. I had no clue there were Taco Johns in Colorado. Growing up we’d skip class and get a taco on taco Tuesdays. Yes it’s fast food but it’s Taco Johns fast food. Potato oles, their«cheese» sauce and potato burritos are my favs. Now that I know ones around, giddyup!

I love Taco Johns, and this location is the best. Every time I have gone to this location the service has been great, the food fresh, and the location itself is really nice. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like, but I mainly get the super burrito as it is my favorite. If you can not eat too much and get full, the sopapilla bites are AMAZING! They may not be good for you, but each bite is heaven.

Pretty good and super cheap. Try the taco burger if you go here. They are small but only a couple dollars, and they are really good.

You’re kidding, right? I lived up here for FOURYEARS and NEVER knew this place existed. WHAAAAAT??? Of course now I live half an hour away. So that’s awesome. But anyway, and pay attention here: POTATO. OLES. Did you get that? I’ll pause so you can write it down. . . . Now go. Get some. And for the love of unicorns, get them with the goodies on top. Guac. Sour Cream. Chili. Cheese Sauce. Cheese. Homemade Chipotle Salsa. You *will* thank me.

Love me some Taco Johns! I used to eat at their old location on 92nd and Washington back when I worked in Thornton. Their new(er) location on 96th is much nicer and very clean. The food here is consistent and I LOVE their Potato Oles! The Taco Bravos are incredible. Hard shell taco wrapped in a soft shell tortilla with refried beans smothered in between. Do get the Cini-sopapilla bites for dessert, they are noms! Good. Fast. Cheap. I’m not a fast food fan in general but I’ll make an exception whenever it comes to Taco Johns. Taco Johns utterly blows Taco Bell away. Don’t even think about making a run for the border. I’ll drive all the way to Thornton just to get me some Potato Oles!

Okay, I’m from Wyoming where Taco John’s also originated and I must say, I’ve had it with the Colorado locations. I went to Taco John’s on Saturday for a quick lunch. I went to the drive-thru because I was also buying some food for a friend and was driving back to my home. When I arrived home and began eating, I noticed the taco shells were devastatingly stale. The meat inside was bland as well as the nacho cheese I ordered on the side for the Potato Oles. My friend’s Mountain Dew was flat as Hell. I also asked for hot sauce which they also failed to provide. You know, I’ll speak for myself on this one but the locations in Wyoming are just far superior to the locations here in the city. It’s amazing what a difference 100 miles can make in quality of food and service. I mean, am I supposed to drive to Cheyenne every time I want quality food from Taco John’s? Hell no. Too bad, I really love Taco John’s but will have to give it up unless I’m on one of my trips up to Wyoming.

Taco Johns… We like… We were here for lunch, Thursday November 18th2010. Hubs ordered the Meat Potato Burrito, Super Burrito and Chili, while I opt for Two Soft Shell Tacos, Potato Oles and Churros. Hubs like his order. He mentioned that the flavor is slightly different from other«Fast Food» that sells Burrito. I like what I ordered too. The Potato Oles reminds me of those mini hashbrowns that I often craved for Breakfast during the weekends. We also have the sauces, in which I cant recall which is which at all. Self Served Sauces, mind you. The sauces can be found at the sauce counter, aligned with where you get your Soda Pops. I like the spicy sauce. The service at the counter was friendly. But it took awhile for them to get our food ready. But the good thing, when we received all our orders, where they will send it to your table, all the food came out piping hot, fresh and delish. We dont mind returning to this Taco Johns, and perhaps explore other Taco Johns in Colorado when needed.

Driving around and we stopped here for lunch. We had been here before and we knew what to expect. It is consistant-this is the cleanest Taco Johns I have ever been in. It didn’t look just new, it was clean and the clerks wore spotless shirts(no food spills, grease spots, etc). It might possibly be the cleaest fast food restaurant I have ever been in. Now watch, someone will stop and say they weren’t. But I think so. The food was OK-hot and fresh. It wasn’t over the top good. and they have begun adding spice. For a long time it seemed(to me) that Taco John stores have served bland tacos and buritos If you wanted spice you had to add it on with salsa but the fod we got today came with it! I hope it is a new wave comin’. Maybe they need a «sissy» menu. Anyhoo, i am a fan.
