The Crazed Corn Field Maze

I actually like this corn maze a lot, 2015 wasn’t their best maze, it was one of the fastest we’ve experienced, but in general the level of activities combined with the maze, makes it good.
You can get a snowcone, some snacks, pumpkins, play in a corn box, play on a playground, pet some farm animals, etc. It’s a good time for all!

Okay this corn maze was scary as hell and I definitely feel like this was worth it! We actually got cheaper tickets from a couple who apparently did not have time to attend it, simply because they were running late. I thought that was a great hookup, and my friend and I proceeded into enjoying the event. I thought the lines were painfully long and slow, but once we finally reached the front, I can say that the fear began instantly. There a crazy clown with a chainsaw and heavy, bloody makeup covering his face. It was scary. The maze made it hard for us to find our way out, and we thought that was a thrill. I also enjoyed the people running around with bats and the chainsaw noises. Creepy. In the very end, there was an entirely huge clown house and the whoole time they were clowns calling out my name, and then shrieking out my name, as they popped up from every corner and spooked me dead. I loved this event and will be back next year.

I really really disliked this pumpkin patch. It was super muddy. I did not care for their selection of pumpkins. The thing I disliked the most though, is the way their animals seemed to be treated. They had a poor zebra in a little cage that they were allowing to be handled by tons of people. A zebra at a pumpkin patch? Really? Their petting zoo was terrible in my opinion. There was a poor baby cow standing around without it’s mom looking very unhappy. It just seemed like they dumped a bunch of poor animals into a cage and let anybody go in and manhandle them. Also, there was a poor little pony being forced to carry around a cart and people could ride in the cart. The pony looked absolutely miserable. I could be wrong, and the animals might be perfectly happy, but I doubt it. They’re just was a really negative vibe. Overall, this pumpkin patch was just pretty ghetto. The ones at Rock Creek or Anderson Farms are spectacular and I highly recommend them!

This company is running a borderline scam. This review is for their Halloween incarnation. I signed up for the Zombie Massacre. I ended up waiting an hour in line before I noticed they were letting in «VIPs» at a rate of 8 to 2. That is 8 VIP (those that paid $ 10 more). So after waiting all that time, the wait would have been far longer because at a rate of 2 people getting on the trailer/​ride, I still had 30 people ahead of me. What a way to screw over people who have been waiting, and what operations person came up with that ratio? This company simply does not consider their capacity and seems to revel in wasting people’s time. Then here is the kicker, they certainly know they do this because they are very explicit about not offering refunds. However, why not? If they are perpetually overbooking the attractions, then people deserve their money back.
Their other attractions were similarly packed with long lines. I calculated that I would have had to wait around 1.5 hours (including time at the entry gate) to get onto a 10 minute ride and this was on a Sunday, and the people arriving later than me waited longer. Obviously this company is not concerned about wasting your time.
What this company is offering is some scares in a Cornfield. Their management is so greedy that they put no capacity in place to handle the holiday crowd. Their answer is to take your money first, make you wait, then give you no way leave with your money of you are highly dissatisfied. So the company is essentially lying to its customers. I would skip this attraction. $ 24 spent, and happy to leave seeing nothing just to get away from this sleazy operation.

Great corn maze for kids 7 – 14 yrs! Challenging for kids and adults with a fun twist. I recommend this place!

Not the worst pumpkin patch in the area, but certainly not the best. The Palombo family needs to stop acquiring is staff from RedNecks R Us. The haunted exhibits after 7 pm are overpriced and earn their mediocre reviews. Sloppy sets, knowledgeable farmers countered by unprofessional workers and an ever-​changing price menu. I ceased working there after experiencing sexual harassment from the owner. Never again.
The corn box is fine for the kids to play in during the day hours, but all else is either boring or substandard at night. Save Your Money. Monkey Business is a better investment.

Fun place, lots of activities. Pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, bounce houses, and more. The corn maze certainly is large! Took us a bit of time to get through it, but it’s not impossible. Also a great selection of pumpkins.

Our group of 18 people «did» the daytime maze. No one was able to find the exit. We even followed the left wall all the way around and ended up back at the entrance, then we followed the right hand wall all the way around back to the entrance. When we asked where the exit was the lady at the counter where the exit was she just said «near the entrance» but admitted she hadn’t seen it. Unless there is a tunnel in the middle somewhere the entrance IS the exit, and that is pointless. At any rate other than it being a beautiful day to be outside it was a complete let down.

I’ve visted this corn maze twice, once the third weekend of October, 2009 and the second time the first weekend of October, 2010. Both times the Maze was in excellent condition considering the amount of foottraffic, and the corn stalks were tall and full (unlike Chatfield). The punch hole game is very entertaining too. If you’re able to find all 10 punch holes in the Maze you recieve a free mini pumpkin! They also have a very nice selection of pumpkins for sale (unlike the Chatfield Pumpkin Patch). The pumpkins are a little pricey, but considering their quality it’s well worth it!
There is also a nice concession stand with a lot of goodies, and the haunted field of screams at night. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

The corn maze was kind of fun, but the kid activities outside of the maze were kind of lame. They had a little play set and a corn box. Other than that, there wasn’t anything for them to do but run around.
My entire family of 5 went into the maze. 12 and up was $ 8.75, under 12 was $ 6.75, and 5 and under are free. I was a little disappointed that the $ 2 off coupon we found on their website was only eligible for the nighttime events, even though it didn’t say so. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes with a flat bottom since the terrain in the maze is bumpy. Make sure to take water in with you because just when you’re parched, you may not be able to figure out how to get out. They give you tickets to find all the punches. It makes cruising the maze kind of fun. At one point, my 5 year old decided that he was done, so we went out while the rest of my family stayed in to finish the punches.
We had timed it so that my husband and oldest son could go through the haunted field of screams. The problem is that they close the kid friendly activities around 5:30 so there wasn’t anything for me and my 2 younger kids to do while we were waiting for them in the haunted field. My husband and son said that it was kind of cool, but WAY overpriced at $ 16.95/pp (or $ 14.95 with the $ 2 off coupon on their website). We can say that we did it, but likely won’t do it again. They do have a nice pumpkin selection, albeit a little pricey.
