The Home Depot

Could not get help to find a laundry room sink if my life depended on it. The old men that work there are apathetic. Tried to get help finding the sink and they gave me the run around. I had gone to Lowes a few days earlier and got much better and friendlier help. Luckily my son found the laundry room sink. If you ask anyone where things are they just point and say «in aisle so and so» and sometimes it is wrong. Lowes is much better for customer service. Home depot might be better on variety but you get treated like a nobody.

My husband and I just bought our first home and it’s a major fixer upper. We have consulted with staff members here every weekend for the last month to get guidance on all of our projects. We live about a mile away from a different Home Depot and drive out of our way for the customer service at this location. Yvette helped us design our kitchen, Theresa helped us purchase everything we needed for the cabinets and appliances, Dennis helped us with tile just to name a few exceptionally helpful individuals.

I ordered a fire pit online and went to the service desk to get sorted out. After signing for it the woman at the desk called the back of the house to bring it up. After waiting for 30 minutes an associate comes up from the back. The woman at the desk asks him where the fireplace is and he says it’s been sitting in the back ready to be loaded up. The lack of communication is unbelievable and no one said so much as a sorry. This Home Depot has extremely poor service and apparently apathetic employees.

I love Home Depot. I’ve learned how inconvenient life is for a handy person like myself to be without a Home Depot within 10 minutes of home!

No one can be perfect all the time but I have to just let it be known that I have never had a bad experience in this store. Now, be it known, I have never had a high level Project that required any special skills or specialized departments at home depot but rather, like many of us, just a homeowner that occasionally needs fix it supplies like Light bulbs, Lawn supplies, sprinkler supplies, paint etc. Nevertheless, I frequent this store often as I very much enjoy fixing things myself rather than outsourcing. That being said, I know what I want when I arrive. I try to get in and out in less than 15 min. I love that I can… Because I know where everything is, there is no mystery and they don’t rearrange the store just for fun. Additionally, in only 15 min., It is rare that I get offered help by less than three people in that short time which is what prompted my review today. While in the store today my 8 year old said, «Mom, we must look dumb our list because so many people are asking us if we need help» Hilarious. Good job Home Depot. (Or maybe you did think we were dumb but you masked it well :))

Hard to get assistance in the lumber section. I waited over an hour for assistance while watching small children play with saws and smash each other with wood.

Patty in flooring is the bomb! She helped me get a quote for my house and walked me through options. She was so friendly, I left feeling like I just made a new friend!

It is fantastic how this location hosts so many big stores in one area. You can easily price compare as well as get everything you need for the home — from building materials to appliances and even pet supplies. Its all on this corner of 7 and I-​25.

and many more other items in which I cant recall. He is trying to compare the deals that Home Depot has to Lowes. I believe the things he cant find at Home Depot he will try to find it at Lowes.
All in all an enjoyable shopping spree for «TOOLS» for Hubs and I. 3.5 stars ratings for this Home Depot.
