Interesting how all reviews are filtered on here… mine probably will be too.
I was going to wait until we received our refund check before writing a review, but seeing how we are fighting for this and are not hoping to see it any time soon, I might as well write it now.
One word… RUN! Run as fast as you possibly can. In fact, when I was moving out, I saw someone running… from the cops that are CONSTANTLY here for violence, drugs, prostitution, and who knows what else.
The entire time my boyfriend and I lived here, we were counting down the days until we moved out. We heard gunshots on our first night there. There were dog feces in our hallway within a week of moving in and the smell of pot was sickeningly strong in the halls.
Luckily, we did not encounter any bugs like so many others have, however, that is the extent of our luck. Maintenance is a joke… and SUPER creepy! My friend and I decided to try out the pool one day. As soon as we took our towels off, a bunch of the maintenance guys came to the fence of the pool and started staring at us and saying vulgar things.
The office staff-​new and old– is a complete joke. We were accused of fabricating our move out notice just so that we would have to pay an additional month. After I gave them a note from a lawyer, they agreed that the document was real after all.
The day we moved out, new management took over… from what I have experienced they suck just as bad as the old. As outlined in our lease, we are supposed to get our refund within 60 days of move out. It has now been 70 and they are claiming that the check is «in the mail and should be here this week». They have been saying this for three weeks. My boyfriend and I have finally filed a BBB complaint. The cherry on top? The manager told my boyfriend that they are within their rights, to do whatever we have to do, and that (I am going to put this in caps just to make sure you understand the obsurdity of this place) MAIL COMING FROM ARIZONA TAKES 2 – 3 WEEKS TO GET TO DENVER.
Do yourself a favor and live anywhere else. A cardboard box would be better than this hell hole.

SLUMLORD !!! Horrible, we moved in here last minute, and they want to charge $ 650 for a one bedroom that has old windows that blow in cold air, THERE ARE GERMAN COCKROACHES AND BEDBUGS THAT they HAVE HAD FOR YEARS! and they wont get rid of them, you have to make a request to get sprayed, but it usually takes 3 times for it to remotely do anything about the bedbugs, and the roaches just go and hide in the next apartment till the fumes are gone. (you have to do a entire apartment for them to all die.) Oh and if the pest guy comes and you are not home they fine you, even if you were in the hospital. If your 1 cent off from rent they will keep charging you late fee’s till its a 1,000., and than kick you out if you can not pay it BEFORE 30 days. (has happened to a lot of the neighbors around me) They want a $ 350 animal deposit and $ 25 additional a month, but nothing in here is worth that much. paper thin walls. And the cops are here all the time. And if someones fighting watch out they might come to your apartment with the excuse of possible domestic violence when its your neighbor. Somebody was SHOT outside the apartments in a DRIVE-​BY. I could go on and on, just go talk to some of the people living there (make sure you speak spanish, cause maintenance will pretend they dont speak english) This place is falling apart, they keep covering it up with ghetto remodeling, but as you walk through the halls, kitchen and living room there are a lot of sunk in spots. They need to BULLDOZE this place and start over with new management. THERE ARE OTHER APARTMENTS OUT THERE that DONT have all these problems FOR THE SAME PRICE OR CHEAPER. KEEP LOOKING!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE OUTSIDE AND THE PICTURES. There is a reason they have specials on the security deposits all the time.
