I stopped at the lost frontier for a quick bite to eat as I was traveling through the small town. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was the best I have ever had, by far. I wish I lived closer!

The best Pork Tenderloin Sandwich I have ever had! The Lost Frontier has a new owner but the staff hasn’t changed. I was visiting relatives in the area and they brought me here. We walked in past the counter and sat at my brother-in-law’s usual table. The waitress brought 2 drinks for him and his wife and then asked what I would like to drink. Definitely a family environment.

Although The Lost Frontier is tucked away in Thorntown, IN, it’s worth the trip to try their delicious Texas BBQ Sandwich. It’s a one-​of-​a-​kind sandwich that I find myself craving every now and again. What a tasty treat for such a tiny town!
