Burro

I was so excited to check this shop out. I heard they had some super cute kids stuff. I went in to go do some shopping for my little girl. My first impression was, wow this is for sure my new go to place to drop some money! Unfortunately, not a single employee greeted me let alone looked my way. I strolled through the whole store then decided to leave. I didn’t want to spend my money at a place that had such bad customer service.
Fast forward to a few months later my husband and I were having lunch in the plaza and he wanted to check out the store. I decided to give them another chance, maybe I went in on an off day??? NOPE! Again not a single hello or a welcome or a can I help you from any one of the employees there?!!
We can fast forward again and my sister went in… She was so annoyed by the return policy, she had a kids shirt with tags on and still wrapped in box with receipt! Given as a gift and did not fit she returned… Well they wouldn’t take it back since they sold out of it. No store credit or anything they told her to re wrap it and give it to someone else! Horrible customer service again! Too bad they have amazing stuff but horrible service!

I love stores like this… so much to look at, read, smell, touch, enjoy… and perhaps, to buy, although kinda pricey. They have fun stuff in here. Some FANTASTIC books… some very unique cookbooks, some equally unique and wonderful celebrity photograph books, and all kinds of other books… for kids and adults alike. Great greeting cards, one of which caught my eye immediately. The front of the card said, «We never liked him anyway.» Made me smile… and sort of sorry that I didn’t know anyone I could give it to. They have a wonderful children’s section, filled with clothes, ultra soft stuffed animals that I had trouble putting down (they were so soft), plenty of toys and books. The store also had a lovely jewelry section, some adult clothing, candles, perfumes, some sparkly and alluring geodes. I could go on and on. Really nice store. Sadly, I didn’t buy anything today, but the key word on that is «today.»

Popped in this morning and wasn’t especially impressed with the customer service. The employees just weren’t as warm or friendly as one would hope. Since it’s so easy to hop online and find just about anything you’d like these days, a shop like this only seems to stand out if the experience makes it worth the trek.

I love love love this store! They have the cutest gifts and kids clothes. Sarah and Jordan are always wonderful and helpful. Yes, the clothes can get pricey but that’s what you’d pay online anyhow for those brands. I don’t mind spending the cash on the wares because I know my son won’t be dressed like every other kid on the playground. They are constantly changing the layout which is cool because you end up discovering new treasures.

I love this place. Every time I step inside, my heart beams with excitement over all the cute things I get to look at. I adore the baby clothing, the little hair clips, the books, the toys, and the beautiful cards. There is always something perfect to pick up when you need a present. Also, the staff is great and wrap your presents with the same whimsy as the store! This place is a total treat in every way!

Burro is a magical and whimsical shop full of outrageously priced toys, books, clothing, accessories and pretty much anything spectacular that any baby, child or mama would ADORE. I’ve been twice now and each time walked out with a lil’ somethin’ for my mini me (and paid for it of course!). All the rich moms would have a field day in this place.
As long as you’re bank rolled, gift shopping is a piece of cake here… there is way too much good stuff. I’m surprised they don’t sell unicorns and rainbows and locks of Ryan Gosslin’s hair. I just wish a tank top didn’t cost $ 60 for a baby (or what about that adorable tutu that was $ 90)? Sheesh. I need to meet some of these loaded babies and become friends with them.
