Remember the surprise roach spray that torpedoed my night? Well, it never happened. Yeah. Not at all, not even a little bit. They did think to lie to me about it, rudely, when I called on my lunch break to see if the exterminator was done. Whoever was in the office told me the spray was finished«this morning.» When I pointed out that that’s a timeframe that covers quite a few hours, and we were kinds looking for whether or not the four-hour safety window was closed, I was put on hold for five minutes. I guess clocks are hard. This delightful professional then snapped at me that my building was done at eight thirty. I dared to ask if she was sure, since we were looking out for a cat, and she got exasperated and told me again that«this morning» was when it was done. I told her that that was *almost* as helpful as the twelve hours’ notice and hung up, because fuck it, I hadn’t slept and I wasn’t asking any insane questions, I just wanted to make sure my partner and/or my cat didn’t get poisoned on top of the rest of this disaster. Well, there sure was no risk of that, because he called to let me know that there was zero smell or residue. Yep. They hadn’t even put down poison int he first place, which would explain the lack of the usual info sheet on the door. So all that time and the money we spent on the tarps was a waste, because the new management evidently believes so strongly in the concept of the lowest bidder that they hire any random muppet to do… uh, whatever they feel like doing, I guess? This matches up with the speed and quality of all the other work I see done on the property, so no huge surprise, just another irritating disappointment. Good on you, lazy manager; you’re not just inept, you’re incredibly rude!

My boyfriend use to live here before we moved to monterey and I loved it! I spent a lot of time here and it was a very cute and very quiet place. It was very beautiful and the studio apartment was spacious. Two pools, a gym, and a Jacuzzi! ! Sad we had to move.
