One of my fav local parks — kids love the ducks, creek, multiple play structures and the woods. Great for photos and large events. Also a short walk to the library ! Can’t beat it here!

Simi Valley, CA
Way too many birds here but they have 2 very big playgrounds available. It is a very nice park to come to and just relax. I highly recommend coming to this park even if you have kids!

Peoria, AZ
Great park! Lots of stuff for the little ones to do! Bring your dog and maybe some food for the ducks! Lots of paths throughout the park to take a scenic walk. It’s right off the freeway and easy to get to. Overall my kids and I had a great time at this park!

Simi Valley, CA
Very cool public park. Huge grassy area, cool pond for the kids to throw rocks into, covered picnic area and plenty of parking within walking distance. It’s also close to a Thousand Oaks Library so you can kill an afternoon with the kiddos. Get some books, then get some exercise!
I was there for a dog festival called «Bark in the Park.» It was a GREAT activity for dog lovers. Vendor booths (with plenty of free treats), dog obstacle courses, dog pools, dog races. you get the idea.
The park is a great spot for festivals but you may need to walk a bit once it gets busy (5 – 7 minute walk max I’d guess).
Overall, a prime example of the wonderful parks in California. Great place!

San Ramon, CA
Great place for picnics, BBQ or playing on the grass. Wife takes extra laps around the park walking while tame a break catching up on things on my iPhone in park or ajoining library. Just a couple cautions — closes early like 10pm and there are young coyotes sometimes there — watch your young kids and small dogs.

My wife and I love it here! We enjoy taking our kids here too! I like how it’s hidden behind the library and right off the freeway. There’s a pond, slides, swings, activity area, and just a whole bunch of room for a picnic, parties, or to just take a stroll.
