Fantastic customer service! Had a slip cover for a sofa blow out one day before a summer rental was to move in. Daniel put a seamstress on it immediately. I came back an hour later and it was ready to go! Saved me a second trip through the canyon, work was seamless. Will definitely use again to redo our cushions after this tenant.

I just got my dining chairs back today and they look absolutely gorgeous!
i acquired from my mother in law an Ethan Allen 30+yo (?) dining room set. After a few more years of use in our family, the chairs were shot! It had no padding left, the upholstery was tattered and the wood scratched — thanks to the cat.
I shopped around for new chairs, but really couldn’t find anything that would match the style and quality of this «vintage» set. Plus, I think it would have broken my MIL’s heart if I tossed such a wonderful gift.

Daniel is awesome! he helped us select window treatments, reupholster wingback chairs, and rearrange the furniture in our master bedroom. Now it feels like a hotel suite! he was organized, responsive, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to work with. he provided solutions that we never would have thought of. I never realized how invaluable an interior designer was until I worked with Daniel. Hiring Daniel definitely saved us money, time, and aggravation, and gave us the bedroom that we always dreamed of. I am very pleased with the reupholstery of my little chair. Daniel was most helpful with some of the finer details (painting the chair legs, using contrasting piping, adding more down to fluff the seat cushion, etc.). I thought the price was fair and the workmanship was excellent.

Fariba helped us select the fabric, which we love, and the chairs look beautiful. The lined fabric was perfectly matched and then Daniel Scotch-​guarded them and delivered them back on-​time. Kelly at Daniel’s and the whole team were just great. I called them initially to fix a cane chair seat that a dinner guest had put their knee through in a fall! It came back perfect, matching the other chairs and well done. At the same time I realized we had a sofa, chair and ottoman that were well worn. So I decided to redo all 3 pieces and restuff, tie, etc the sofa. Kelly helped me match our style and the recliner’s fabric that was still ok. Then Daniel helped me figure out how to make a seat cover for the sofa cushions to protect them from our new puppies. His team made a wonderful piece that fit under the back cushions and hung fitted over the seat cushions. Then he gave me all the left over material just in case the dogs decide to chew the throw pillows, etc! I would definitely recommend them. Excellent workmanship, timely delivery!

Daniel & B are knowledgeable and helpful with all your upholstery and design challenges. Their work is not shipped out to who knows where– they personally work with each of their master craftsmen. Prices are fair and probably below what you would paying elsewhere. Have your own fabric? No problem– they will gladly use it and not give you the stink eye like other places.

Walking into Daniel’s Design House, is like walking into the home of life long friends. Daniel and Fariba are both knowledgeable and gracious. They have passion and confidence, which is illuminated in their attentive, professional service. AND, THEY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB FOR LESS THAN OTHER QUOTES.

In a world that sometimes seems to be over-​populated with surly people who think that they are doing you a huge favor by providing shoddy work, it is a refreshing to deal with someone who does excellent work at a reasonable price, and with a very cordial approach. Daniel’s Design House is the essence of what all service businesses should strive to be.
I needed to have a dining room chair repaired. It is one of a set of 8, and I didn’t want to replace the entire set. The back of the chair seemed very loose, but the cause was not apparent, because the entire chair was upholstered.
I researched possible repair facilities on the web, and was impressed with the consistently positive Unilocal reviews that had been posted for Daniel’s Design House in Thousand Oaks. Since I didn’t have a better solution, I decided to take a chance that the reviews were correct, and I took the chair to Daniel’s.
The repair turned out to be fairly difficult, as a main structural component of the chair had failed. Nevertheless, Daniel’s took on the challenge, and fabricated a replacement part, which made the chair much stronger that is was when it was new. In addition, they were able to remove, and then reinstall the upholstery, leaving no evidence that anything had been disturbed.
I recommend Daniel’s Design House without reservation, and will use they without hesitation in the future.

I love this place. We had an old hand me down gliding chair gifted to us for our nursery. The chair was in great condition, but the upholstery was terrible. We decided to try out Daniel’s Design House.
What a great idea! They are very courteous, professional, and demand a high level of work from themselves.
They reupholstered the chair with a high quality microfiber and the work on the tubing was very clean and even. I love their attention to detail.

recently I had the good fortune of finding Daniel’s Upholstery. i had a job that needed to be done virtually overnight. not only did he deliver, I was thouroughly thrilled with the results. his staff is professional and everyone knows their job. i would highly recommend them to anyone needing reupholstery. i will absolutely use them in the future!

Their ‘workmanship, customer service and exceptional «old school» work — the way it should be done — is by far perfection. They are superb in all their work.
