This is my favorite Mongolian barbecue place because it’s fast, the food tastes great and I have never had any complaints. After you pay for your food you stand in line to pick out the meats you want and then the vegetables. After all that, then they take it put noodles on top and cook it with a teriyaki and Mongolian sauce which is very delicious. I highly recommend this place because not only is it fast like I had mentioned above but the quality of all the ingredients are all fresh.

I’m rating this place 5 stars for a variety of reasons. My entire family enjoys the food here, which is extremely rare for us to all agree on something. My youngest says it is favorite place to eat. I think it is a good value for what you get in a mall food court. Often I feel ripped off in food courts(e.g. pay too much for too little food that is mediocre) but here, for the price I pay, I get a decent portion of food that is pretty healthy. The ingredients seems consistently fresh here. Service is prompt. I know that we can get in and out of here quickly if we need to be somewhere else. They are efficient. I did read the review that mentioned someone touching the food items. That’s definitely a pet peeve of mine and the main reason I stopped going to places like Souplantation… too many people treating the salad bar and other food areas like it was their personal kitchen, and no one there to monitor it. I personally have not noticed that as an issue here, but that’s not to say it probably doesn’t happen.

I stopped here for lunch on a whim today and because they had no other customers and the grill was being cleaned. Being a picky eater who hates spicy food, I often avoid places like this because they can move my food through the same space on the grill where spicy food was just sitting and contaminate it with garlic and stuff. So since I was the only one there and the grill was clean I gave it whirl. The woman at the register was very nice and helpful in explaining the process as I hadn’t been to their restaurant before. I filled my bowl with meat and veggies(the meat is frozen in thin sheets and doesn’t want to pack into your bowl so you end up with quite a bit of empty space in there) and then an employee piles noodles on top before handing to the person who cooks it all. My food was cooked and ready very quickly. The staff did add a bit of some kind of sauce while it was on the grill but then I asked for only water and he swapped back to water and I couldn’t taste anything unusual so I guess the default sauce they use is very mild. Food was okay — meat and veggies aren’t high quality but they’re okay. Actually I didn’t like the beef at all(it tasted too strongly like cow and was tough), the pork was okay and the chicken was fine. I was satisfyingly full afterward. My soda tasted weak though so that sucked. I’d consider coming here again if the timing worked out for me to snag a space on a fresh grill.

While the veggies are awesome and fresh the meat is awful. It was so tough it was like eating paper thin jerky that you have to chew on forever just to swallow it.

Fresh Ingredients. really good especially for mall fast food. Wish bowl they gave was bigger so you could fit more veggies etc in. for a better goodies-to-noodles ratio.

The checkout service was mediocre but expected for a mall fast food stand. The vegetables were fresh and the selection of meats were good. Overall process took 7 minutes. I would go back again as the food was good and reasonably priced.

I used to love this place. Unfortunately its not safe or clean. Tonight I stood in line at Stone Oven and watched a customer take his selections of food all while touching the utensils with his bare hands. He touched the meat in his bowl, pressed it down(I guess to get more in his bowl) and the proceeded to touch other items like veggies with his bare hands touching the utensils. What was most troubling is all the while, the manager stood there and said nothing. A lady in front of me and I watched and were so grossed out by what we saw. I am personally going to file a complaint with the local health department. I won’t say don’t eat here but be very careful. It could be life-threatening. You have no idea what germs and bacteria is on the food you are eating.

The food is alright. Not worth the hype, but it’s pretty quick and cheap compared some of the other foods in the food court. The service is mediocre. I only come here if my friends want to, but it doesn’t tempt me and the food isn’t even that flavorful. I guess it’s just not my style. Also, I hate that I get other people’s food in my own. What if I don’t like corn or mushrooms in my noodles?!

I work in the mall and if I neglect to pack a lunch, this is my go to food choice. Like all Mongolian BBQ places you’re in control of the healthiness of your meal based on your meat and vegetable choices. Sometimes I wish they had other vegetable options like red bell pepper, but I’m content with what they have. The regular staff is always helpful and skillful(there’s one new guy who could use some more training, but everyone else is great). And I love that they have sriracha, sesame seeds, and teriyaki available to add after cooking. Tip: use the napkin they give you to flatten your meat so that your vegetables don’t go flying out.

I usually go here or Tacone to get food from the Oaks Mall Food Court. They have a decent selection of veggies to add into your bowl. The trays are usually pretty full and clean for the most part. Staff is usually pretty fast.

New cashier is rude and has no hospitality. I am a usual customer and enjoy the food, but my two encounters with the new cashier is making me not want to return. First encounter, she held up the line with her inability to open the register. She tried over a dozen times and eventually had to call a coworker to fix it for her. Second encounter, she had an attitude about payment method and did not look kind and welcoming to customers. If she continues to work there with her lack of good customer service, I will not return.

Blah. The chef will add extra soy sauce to whatever sauce you add in your bowl. So essentially every bowl here taste the same.

The service was not bad but I cn not stand the fact that the use so much water in the cooking of the food that it washes all the flavor away. I am lloking for grilled food not boiled slop.

1. August 032013 2. Between 6pm-7pm 3. Hispanic Male cooks frying the food: Bad Service. 4. He was rude and agitated when I asked him to fry the noodles(I don’t want to get sick from raw food). He just placed the noodles on the hot frying plate for 2 seconds then put it back in the bowl. That’s not cooking the food and thats how people get sick(raw food). 5. It’s only partially self serve b/c they won’t let you add the sauce and noodles yourself. They do it for you, which sucks b/c they skimp on the sauce and very much skimp on the noodles serving.

Good news, they do have tofu for the vegetarians, but I had to ask about it. At the time I was there, the tofu was not out. The price is high, and the portions small. How much can you get into that small bowl? But it is nice to have the tofu option. It is in the foodcourt at the Oaks Mall.

Just Americanized garbage. Not even all you can eat like the other mongolian BBQs I’ve eaten at. They don’t serve rice and the serving portion is ridiculously small for the expensive price. I recommend eating at Wok’n south Mongolian BBQ in Camarillo.

Yes this place is packed. And its a food court restaurant Its good food though. Only two things on their Menu. Regular and something else. Umn only tip I can give. humn… Well if you are not going for the traditional noodles and meat. You can pack it with just meat and everything else and ask for no noodles. Same price. I saw someone doing that. Pretty cool.

The first thing you notice about this place, is the striking beauty of it. It’s clean, it’s bright, it’s sleek. The second thing you notice is the line. When you see no lines at every other restaurant, and then one PACKED place? YOUKNOW it’s gonna be legit. The manager was exceptionally friendly and courteous. It’s not often you see the store owner greeting people, and helping things along. The ingredients are high quality. Freshly cut vegetables, freshly mixed sauces, AND they use Rib-eye beef! Wow! Not your typical costco brand! Highly recommend! It’s 8 bucks for more food than you can handle!
