Kumon Math and Reading Center of Thousand Oaks

This Kumon has been amazing in helping my kids do so much better in school. The owner and staff really take the time to make sure they understand what their doing. I noticed a huge improvement on their grades in a very short time. Highly recommend!!!

While my six-​year-​old daughter and I waited for my older daughter to finish her math «lesson» (i.e. sit there and do the sheets herself) the woman who seems to run the place had the audacity to scold my six-​year-​old for reading aloud in the blocked-​off waiting area, while mothers gossiped and an older child cheered his mother. She told us, in my opinion upon reflection, in a very creepy way, there were benches «in the back» — and then led us out the back door to the courtyard! Meanwhile, the teens at the center chatted, etc. My daughter has a very small, raspy voice — much softer than any of the grown ups or older kids who were talking had. My poor daughter thought she was being punished for reading! When I explained that to her, she was disgustingly uncaring. That woman should be ashamed of herself. We are stuck with a contract — otherwise we would be out of there.
