This place is great for a quick lunch if you work close by but today my coworkers are I were displeased. The food seemed rushed and bland not to mention a bit stale. One of my coworkers and I got a chile relleno, which is basically a cheese stuffed bell pepper that is covered in an egg«breading.» It seems as though the chile relleno was precooked, frozen, and reheated because some parts of it were cold and almost solid. Aside from the bad texture and taste we are both experiencing stomach and head pain as well as a bit feverish. Food poisoning? Who knows, maybe a bad batch but I feel terrible for talking my coworkers into going. Be weary.

My favorite is the Shrimp Cocktail here. My wife is always happy with enchiladas. Chips are good. drinks are poured very well.

The service here is horrible, the manager is rude and their portions are way over priced for what they bring you. They charge $ 18 for chicken and steak fajitas and you get 2 thin pieces of chicken and enough steak to make one taco with a huge chunk of fat. When we questioned it… the manager(maybe owner) came over and instead of customer service told my husband he doesn’t need to be defensive… the waitress didn’t speak English until it was time for the bill and how RUDE of them to automatically assume we are Latin and speak to us in Spanish over and over when we dont speak Spanish. Also i odered the chicken and avocado rolls(which are delicious) but they came with bacon and when I sent them back the manager again was rude and told me it says on the menu there is bacon. I APOLOGIZED to him and THANKED him. NEVEREVER going to this restaurant again.

Don’t eat here unless you want to run the risk of getting sick. My son had a chicken burrito there Sunday December 20 and had severe stomach aches shortly after. I too had enormous gas issues. By mid-night he was throwing up every where. So clearly they allow their chicken to sit around too long and spoil and then feed it to people. I had the Chili Colorado tostada and it tasted fine, but later didn’t sit well at all. So avoid this place because clearly they’re not handling their food properly and my son paid the price.

Although the food was good, I felt rushed this evening. Staff asked in Spanish«what time is it?» We walked in at 9:30 on a Friday night and lights were turned down and basically rushed to eat fast! Sadly I was disappointed that they made me feel I needed to eat quick so that they could close. I’m from out of State and won’t be back!

my boyfriend and i usually like this place; i always get either the super nachos or the carnitas burrito and he’s a fan of the al pastor. they have a convenient to-go walk up window and, if dining in, provide homemade chips, salsa, and bean dip. foodwise, i’ve had a pleasant experience every time. this place loses stars for service. the employees seem rushed and annoyed and it’s unwelcoming. one particular event that bothered us happened when we went for dinner a few nights ago. the server was mopping the floor when we entered and when she noticed us after a few minutes, she pushed the water bucket to the side and got our menus, silverware, water, and chips ALL without washing her hands. not cool

Ordered a chicken burrito to go. I always tip even when I don’t dine in but this was some of the worst customer service I have had in a while. Everyone used to be fairly nice here but now seems like people who don’t speak fluent Spanish are just a huge burden to these employees! Chips were stale and meal was very dry with little to no flavor at all. Extremely over priced.

I’m going with three stars, although, yesterday I had a one star experience. This place has always varied with both quality of service and food. My boyfriend and I have two go to places for cheese enchiladas; Los Dos and Tito’s in Simi Valley. Unfortunately Tito’s is closed on Sundays. Craving enchiladas and Tito’s not being an option we headed over to Los Dos. Firstly, we arrived fairly early on Sunday, a little after 11am. We were seated in a booth, ordered two waters and proceeded to look over the new, updated menu. The single enchilada with rice and beans had been removed from the menu and the new combination options had raised prices. $ 12.50 for two enchiladas with rice and beans is ridiculous. They had added a potato taco to the menu so the boyfriend ordered the combo plate of one cheese enchilada and one potato taco. In addition they serve either soup or salad with your order, being vegetarian we both ordered the salad with ranch, cause, hey, can you really order any other dressing in SoCal? The complimentary chips, salsa and bean dip arrive, but no salads. Ten minutes later, no salads, let’s be honest, the salads suck anyway. It’s just a hunk of iceberg lettuce with a disgusting amount of dressing plopped on top. I asked the server about the salads and he apologizes and runs off to grab our salads. I am a bartender and I totally understand that people forget things once in awhile, it happens. We dig into the salad, I give up on mine after a few bites and push towards my boyfriend, because he eats like a goat and will take my scraps. Very shortly after we receive our salads our entrees arrive, they look fine. I cut a bite of enchilada off and normally would have to wait for it to cool down before eating it, but nope, it’s barely cooked. The cheese wasn’t melted, was barely above lukewarm. I barely get through one enchilada, over cooked rice and ok beans when I just give up. The boyfriend bites into his potato tacos and says something doesn’t taste right. I sampled his taco and confirmed it tasted fishy, literally like fish. Oh! I totally forgot, the first time he was served his POTATO taco it had BEEF in it. When we pointed this out to the waiter he took the taco back to be remade and told us it was a new menu item so the cook(s) were confused about how to make it. Seriously, new menu items and you don’t train all of your cooks on these dishes? Finally, after I had choked down what I could, I used my fork to unfold the second enchilada and it was obvious it was mostly just unmelted, shredded cheese. When the server came to remove our plates I very politely pointed this out to him and I even joked that maybe the cook was hungover. He joked back that he was, too. In the end we paid full price, $ 26.88 plus $ 4.00 tip, for two meals we couldn’t totally consume. No discount, nothing but an apology. Having worked in the restaurant industry for over 13 years I’d have very happily given my customers a discount or a coupon had I served food like this to anyone. Well, maybe not anyone, I can’t stand unreasonable jerk customers, which I strive not to be. It’ll be a long, long time and a bit of memory loss before we return.

Bad Food. Run away. They need to take cooking lessons from El Cholos on Western in Los Angeles. Low quality cheese and meat along with bad service =Los Dos Amigos We were there for dinner. They over charged us and refused to correct their error. Claiming they gave a lunch menu to us in error.

Our server was in a bad mood and didn’t give very good service. I can understand some people can make you mad but don’t treat the rest of your guests bad.

We visited this restaurant in July on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was almost empty. Staff was not very nice. We had been told the chips were home made and the bean dip and salsa were great. No on all counts. We were brought a basket of very broken, store bought chips. Salsa and bean dip were just okay. We ordered guacamole and asked for chips that we could actually use to dip. Again, broken stale chips. We had iced tea but no sweeteners. There was a game blasting and it sounded like the staff was congregated elsewhere watching it. Never got sweetner or our glasses refilled. Food took way too long and was kinda cold. Almost like somebody forgot we were there . Or food was just okay. Wasn’t bad or good. It was $$$ for what we ordered. The service was what will not bring us back. We’ve eaten at another Mexican restaurant nearby that has okay food but the staff is so friendly that we go back. Disappointed

Before reading this, I want everyone to know I do not normally give 1 star reviews… This is my second one, ever… I chose to do take-out due to the reviews on how horrible the service is and I cannot speak spanish that well either. It took them a few minutes to get to the window just to order the food… Let me tell you… THEREWASNOONEINTHEBUILDING and we could see the staff just chit-chatting to one another while we stood out in the extreme heat wanting to order our take-out… That made me pretty mad at first. Then when we did order, the lady looked offended when I tried to order. I have a hard time saying the spanish word for shrimp so I just said it in English not wanting to offend her by destroying the word but man did she give me attitude for it. Once we ordered we didn’t wait long which I am not to happy about. I could have just gone to Tacobell by that point. At least I would have had better service. They got our order right and we went home. I wish I had tried my food before I left… My shrimp were CHEWY like a bad piece of steak chewy. Not only that, but they tasted old and almost bad. However my beans and lettuce in the tostada were delicious. I also liked the salsa. My fiancé got the steak fajitas which were pretty good, not great though. I could just get in the car and drive an extra five minutes into Moorpark to go to Lalos for better food and service. I will be doing that next time. The only thing I would recommend from here is the guacamole. Wow, that was great! It was flavorful and fresh. With the crispy chips they make a great pair!

Great Mexican food. They make a dish for us shrimp wrapped in bacon. I love their Margaritas too!

Best enchiladas hands down. Great atmosphere with good service. They even give you lollipops with your check! They also are great to order in for parties because they give you big trays of food like beans and rice and tacos that are easy for people to grab at. Highly recommend.

Literally the worst service in the world, other than Maria’s Italian Kitchen — that’s the worst. If you don’t speak Spanish don’t even bother asking for a refill because you’ll just be ignored. Cold, overpriced and crappy Mexican food is this places specialty. Oh, and I’m Unilocaling from the table, and all of our drinks and chips and salsa are all empty.

My first time here. Prices were considerably higher than on their online menu. You’ll be paying $ 12 – 17 for an entrée at lunch. Lots of better options in the neighborhood at that price range. The food portion was large, but quality was mediocre. Poor-quality dark-meat chicken, no choice of beans, skimpy on the guac and sour cream. Over-priced. Service was well-intentioned but not very informative. Pass.

The carne asada with cheese enchilada was excellent. Very good service and excellent margaritas. Authentic Mexican cuisine, handmade tortillas and chips and salsa and bean dip make it a nice dining spot.
