He is very well known for vasectomies and was referred to us by my wife’s gyno. He states that he has extremely low complication rates and does the most vasectomies in the area. His staff his friendly. He was great during the appointment before the vasectomy in answering questions. Everything has healed well and I was able to resume workouts 4 days after the operation. I tested later as requested and the vasectomy was successful.
Negatives
During the vasectomy, Pero’s phone rang and he answered it. After the short phone call, he then says we are done. As he clearly knew, I was uncomfortable throughout the procedure and not relaxed. Could he have left his phone with his assistants during the operation? Could he have said we were done and then answer the call? When I approached him about this during the follow-​up, I was careful to be constructive and share what I felt. However, I left disappointed and actually more upset. He started off by asking me if I freak out often. He then stated that no one has ever said anything about the phone calls in 25 years and asks me in a confrontational way about why he should not be able to answer the phone. I told him I understand he is probably desensitized to the procedure after doing it hundreds of times but he should still respect each individual patient and be mindful of the stress they are under during the operation. After a few minutes, he then switched gears and started to feel bad for his words. However, I am not convinced it was genuine and felt compelled to write this review. It does not feel good to walk with that feeling from a doctor.

Amazing doctor, he is consistently providing a great bed side manner. Not only myself but referred other family members including robotic surgery. He is an amazing surgeon as well as bedside manner. Thank you so much for a great experience!

This Doctor (urologist) is awesome, highly recommended. I’ve never had to wait, was in and out of there. He answers all of your questions and is very helpful and kind especially when you’re in pain, he will see you that day. He was able to see that I had an infection before sending the result to the lab, so I was prescribed medication and treated after leaving my appointment. He also gave me medication samples to try out from his office. He made several visits while I was in the hospital recovering, he really cares for his patients. Staff is really nice and helpful too.
