We love Dr. Smith and his office. He is gentle and explains everything. He has a calm office and the gal that runs the front desk is also wonderful. Dr. Smith does beautiful work and I highly recommend him.

This review is long overdue, as I’ve been a patient of Dr. Dean for almost 30 years! Is that possible? Our family moved to Thousand Oaks when I was 16, and Dr. Dean was my first (and last) dentist since. I would even see him when my insurance would not cover his services, he’s that good. And by good, I mean not just a good person, which he is, but a professional, and HONEST! Like another reviewer, I went to get a cleaning one time somewhere else, as I was dirt poor at the time and it was a free cleaning, and they wanted to fill two cavities. It seemed shady, so I went to Dr. Dean and he said I did not have any cavities. It’s like finding an honest mechanic, once you find the one, you stick with them. You only have one mouth, and once your teeth are gone, they ain’t coming back, so why not put them in the hands of a true professional?

I have been going to Dr. Smith for more than five years. I originally went to him for a second opinion on a replacement crown. Another local dentist, who was not as honest, insisted that his crown was necessary. Dr. Smith said otherwise, and I have been going to him ever since. He is professional, competent and thorough. My wife and daughter are also very satisfied!
