Sunland Vintage Winery Tasting Room

Been coming here every couple of months since this place opened in 2013 and the Wine Yard closed. Tastings are a little pricey and are not waived when you purchase of a bottle as other wineries do, but it’s a fun little place to hang out. There’s usually a food truck on Thursday nights, and some nights they have $ 5 wine specials. You can bring your food here too (pizza, salad, burger…). I read one review complaining that wine glasses were not included with the tastings — to be honest, I think all wineries (at least in California) stopped doing that many years ago. The best wine here is the one called ‘Delicate Princess’ but that’s just a personal preference. Owned by Mike and his wife Debby who are good conversationalists.

I recently set up a birthday gathering form my boyfriend in June since both myself and him are major wino, took me some efforts to know Alma Sol and this was sharing the same space and when I google search for party gathering place, Alma Sol came up first. I was trying to be in touch with the tasting room owner back and forth to learn his schedule was not available. He then finally sent me over to Sunland vineyard, I had response immediately and follow up was prompt with all the information and reservation details. In short, we had a great time and our party as well. They were very attentive and it is our little wine tasting experience with our friends. It seem like this place held a lot of social events which encourage people to try out. for our local glass of wine tasting that takes 10 min to get to, this be it ~

Wine… Italian Wine… You could not ask for a better environment to experience some of the best wines in Southern California. The Wine Room itself is a visual wonderland. Extremely well knowledgeable and friendly owners/winemaker’s. Walking distance into this wineroom is like walking into a friend/​family members home. Have I mentions the wines? Amazing. Do not pass up coming here!

Just an awesome place to enjoy their great wines. Liked it so much, we joined their wine club. We love to hear what all goes into their thought processes & how they make their wines. Can’t wait for our first club release in July!

We had a lovely time at the Sunland tasting room! Michael and Debbie are super sweet, and explained the back story on all of the wines as well as how they got into the business. The wine was quite tasty.

They have live music on Friday nights and we were told they have food trucks here on the 1^st and 3^rd Thursday of the month. Can’t wait to come back!

What a great little spot! Convenient, warm atmosphere, delicious wines, friendly & informative couple who owns it.
One thing I’d like to mention is that due to the city’s laws they aren’t allowed to serve any food beyond crackers BUT you are welcome to bring your own. We picked up a sandwich on the way to our tasting last Friday night and Debbie brought us plates and forks so we were able to wine AND dine!
Will definitely be back… and probably on the 1^st or 3^rd Thursdays of the month when they have $ 5 glasses of wine and a food truck that comes with delicious treats. YUM!

Wine was good. Place was small and comfortable which I liked. But when it comes to service and customer satisfaction, this is where they slightly lack. The owner comes around about every 15 minutes to give you tastings of wine unless you flag him over. He demands your attention and will comment on you in front of your peers before pouring the wine so he can explain every detail about it, even when you may be having a deep conversation. Finally after buying 12 bottles of wine amongst 4 people adding up to aroujd $ 400 he wouldn’t even let us have the tastings glasses ! Instead he would give us a discount, $ 18 instead of $ 20 for 4 glasses. Saying «oh no, these are expensive glasses .» Wow ! What a deal.

Great place. Mike and Debbie are great hosts. Really enjoyed the wine and mike full of stories of how they got started. Great gem in the Conejo valley.

This place is a great find! The owners are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the wines are some of – if not the – best in the area. You can also try wines from Alma Sol here. Their prices are very reasonable and parking is super easy. If you are looking for accessible wine tasting in the Conejo Valley, definitely start here!

This place is awesome! The owners are the nicest people in the world. Me and a friend went there and we definitely had a great time talking with the owners and tasting all the fabulous wine.

We visited the tasting room and immediately fell in love with the wines. The wines are exceptional in taste and quality. Mike and Debby are extremely cordial and always make us feel right at home. I cannot recommend their entire line up of wines high enough.

The wine room was empty but looked pleasant when we walked in after purchasing a Conejo deal that included the tastings and a free glass of our favorite. Dark Hershey’s kisses were at the table as a pairing. Mike was very friendly and we tried some nice wines, but as soon as another group came in, he turned his attention to them, and we were ignored, although his wife was there to attend to them. Most of the tastings we’ve been to includes the wine glass, but not here.

Love this place. The owners are very nice, the décor is relaxing, and the wines are excellent. Highly recommend this place.

We learned about Sunland Vintage Winery through a Conjeo Deal we bought months ago and were finally able to experience it this weekend. This place is lovely. The owners, a sweet husband/​wife duo, really know their stuff, and take the time to really go over all the wine selections. They were also excellent at recommending selections based on our tastes. Tastings are affordable, and this place has a charming atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

You have to try Sunland Vintage! I’m so glad my husband and I fell upon this fantastic tasting room! The wine is wonderful, so many choices, something for everyone. Great ambience, Debby and Mike were so good to us, we could spend all day there. Great flights, great prices, and we went home with a few bottles, Cheers!

Sunland Vintage makes great Italian varietals that are simply outstanding. The tasting room is beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming. The owners Debbie and Mike will greet you with a warm smile and make sure you enjoy your time in the tasting room. Bring friends and enjoy the spacious seating while you have a tasting, glass, or bottle. I can’t say enough positive things about this wonderful place and the fantastic owners.
