I’ve been going to Niki for a little bit over a year and she is the best! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, her bikini waxes are quick and thorough. She is friendly and professional, and I highly recommend her!

I frequently go to Unilocal to find reviews for superior services offered in the community and again I was not disappointed. This was my first wax in a very long time and I was apprehensive about how it would go. I gave Niki a call and she was very professional and her appointment availability worked with my busy schedule. I have very sensitive skin, so her technique and products she used did not cause any irritation. She is extremely friendly and will make you feel very comfortable. Her location is very safe and inviting and her décor is eclectic and clean. I have already booked my next appointment! You won’t be disappointed!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing wax experience. It was my first ever Brazilian and although it didn’t feel GOOD, it was not nearly as painful as I expected. I’ve been going to Niki for waxing since ²⁰⁰⁵⁄₀₆. She uses this wonderful stripless wax that minimizes the sting. She’s always giving me beauty tips and sometimes even helpful life advice. I would never go anywhere else! Many thanks from my husband as well ;)

I am always willing to try a new place for a Brazilian wax. I wasn’t sure if this place was going to live up to the hype but to my pleasant surprise it did! Nikki is amazing. She is so nice and really understands hair growth. That’s important because not all of your hairs grow at the same time. She also informs you that you should exfoliate. This lady knows all about hair growth! It’s amazing. I will definitely be back.

I have never had waxed before in my life except my eye brows. If your are ready for the PLAYBOY WAX experience and are searching for the right place search no more. Nikki makes you feel so comfortable and genuinely cares for her clients. You can tell she loves what she does. She even has packaged deals, to help you SAVE money. Sometimes smaller and less fancy is better; the blue wax works excellent and I am super pleased with the results every time.

Ladies (and gentlemen), Do yourself a favor and come see Nikki. She is by far the best. Her studio is always decorated by the season and she is such a nice and thoughtful lady. You feel very comfortable with her. The special wax she uses is a plus. I’ve been coming here for about 3 years now and wouldn’t let anyone else do my waxing. Yes — the place is nice — operated with one lady, it has a small, nicely decorated small room. But — I came home and had to reapply wax on my legs as Nikki missed so much. No… I’m am not hairy at all… Maybe it was difficult for her to see and this is the reason she missed…
Not coming back for sure!

I was looking for someone to try out before my wedding. I found Nikki from Unilocal.She was very thorough over the phone and asked all the right questions. She gave very detailed and precise directions to her shop, which I appreciated. She was very professional, and as all of the reviewers below mentioned, has a very nice personality and is a warm person to talk to during the whole experience!
I had a bikini wax and a facial wax done with her. I had told her that in the past, using the type of wax without the strips caused a lot of skin ripping for me. She assured me that she had done her research and really trusted the quality of the wax that she uses. At the end of it, I had no skin ripped and NO INGROWN hairs after 5 weeks. I will definitely be returning to her. My only complaint would be that I’m a fast, get-​it-​over-​with type of person and she really takes her time. This isn’t something that I would reduce a star for because I suspect that taking your time decreases the incidence of ingrowns ;-). This is also a factor of the type of wax she uses (you have to wait until it’s completely dry).
Also, the wax she uses does not hurt as much as other places that I’ve been to… but that is definitely subjective and differs from person-​to-​person.

I have gone to Pink Cheeks for years and see Aya (love her!) but living in Thousand Oaks the drive, traffic and parking is some what of a pain.
Found Nikki, owner of the Waxing Goddess on Unilocal and I have gone to her a couple of times now and bought the series (single purchases are pretty steep in comparison) which makes is more affordable and comparable to PC and if you write a review on Unilocal you get… I think a 10% discount, so that helps too. I believe it’s cash or check ONLY.
The Waxing Goddess is in a cute office building and her salon is decorated super cute according to the season’s wax is blue or green can’t really tell — she says its better then what is used at other salons — so normally how waxing is done: technician puts the wax on with a Popsicles stick, then lays on fabric/​cloth and the fabric adheres to the cloth and then it’s pulled. Well… Nikki uses this other kind of wax — kinda reminds me of «Magic Shell» the chocolate coating over ice-​cream that gets hard (she didn’t think that was really a good example but that’s how I imagine it). So she puts on the wax with what feels like a BBQ sauce mop (only really really tiny) — waits for it to cool down… wait for it… wait for it… then she pulls the wax off once its cooled. Ok I’m not gonna lie it hurts — yes, of course it hurts — hair is being pulled out by the roots in places that’s — - well… pretty darn sensitive. But she chats with you to distract you which is a good.
The 2^nd time I got waxed I got a bunch of ingrown hairs which has never happened — I text her and she immediately responded and said for me to exfoliate where we waxed — it seemed to help — I believe she also sells some cream to help with that… I have an appt tomorrow and am hoping I don’t get the ingrown hairs again — that was not fun.
Overall my experience was pretty good — I am giving 5 stars because the location is perfect for me but the price is steep (I guess because the wax is expensive and I imagine her location is prime rent) and she is a one woman show — this is a business and most folks in WLV can afford it — it’s just steep for me. I will continue to go as long as I keep purchasing the packages. Hope this is helpful.

The lady (sorry I am really bad with names) who did Brazilian waxing for me was really nice. We had a great conversation while she was working on the waxing, weird enough, it was not at all awkward.
I would love to go back, but the price is kinda high for my liking.

I love Nikki. She is the best. Very professional. Her place of business is very clean. I have been going to her for over six years. My daughter also uses her services. Nikki uses the best products and is very gentle. I highly recommend her.
