Only gun club /shooting range in town and it’s private… but the good news is it’s exactly what I would expect from a retirement community private outdoor gun club. well maintained, lot of ex military, retired police officers, former CIA and MI6 field operatives(well… not too sure about the CIA and MI6 part…) so «sketchy» folks would be less inclined to join. I guess one could always drive out to bfe and shoot at rocks with 10 other groups in the vicinity but for a flat(~$ 160 to $ 175) annual membership fee, I’d choose PS Gun Club over risking my well being and driving out 45 mins into the wilderness. Joining the club was relatively easy. Attended a first Saturday of the month meeting and answered several questions in front of the current members and then got approved for membership. You don’t need a current member sponsor to join. So why not 5 stars… the club does not have an area for skeet shooting and the bays are pretty close together except for the rifle range. Also during the week I was told that the facility is heavily used by local law enforcement(which I guess is both good and bad)
