Highest prices in the region, bar none. Gas gougers. They are lightning fast to raise prices and slow as molasses to lower them. Corporate says they use a «special algorithm» to determine pricing, but they appear to just be adding 10−30cents/gallon to the other highest priced stations.
Hot coffee – They seldom have more than one pot made after the early morning rush, despite being open 24hrs and having numerous Speedy point deals and ads for new flavors posted on outdoor signage. Stopping in on your way through on a cold winter’s night? – keep driving, they’re out.
I see other gas stations using insulated pump dispensers to keep their coffee hot (and available) for 6hrs. Not sure why Speedway is still using 1970’s equipment.
They charge exorbitantly for everything else as well, including propane tank exchanges and air for your tires, which is a SAFETY CONCERN and used to be free. I’m thinking more drivers would check their tires if they didn’t have to pay these ripoff fees. The corporate mentality seems to be «shaft, shaft, shaft the customer”– If they could get away with installing pay toilets you better believe you’d be hunting for ashtray change or swiping your CC to go pee.
Otherwise typical convenient store fare leading to the downfall of mankind – smokes, booze, lotto tickets, soda dispensers, $ 20 phone chargers, reheated pizza slices, ferrule dogs and lots and lots of food to give people diabetes, most if not all overpriced as well. Healthy snack options are scarce and equally obscenely priced. $ 1.79 for a single mozzarella stick, $ 1 for a brown banana or other aging fruit, $ 2 for a little bag of nuts.
Store is otherwise clean and well lit.

Good gas, good prices, well supplied mini mart. Friendly, efficient staff. My vehicle gets better mileage with their gas, this well documented. The only reason I can come up with is they clean their storage tanks regularly; no water build up through condensation or sludge build up over time. Met a man who cleans gas station tanks, something I was not aware of. All stations do this, some less frequently than others and fuel efficiency is reduce with gas from dirty tanks.

A good price on gas in the area. They have a good selection of gas station food and snacks. I like that they are holding a special on fountain drinks for $.89 for any size thru the summer. So a large 44 oz is only $.94 with tax. Not bad. It is always quite clean and they have ice. I like it but then again I have been to this one since i was 4 yrs old.
