I ordered a $ 279 urn from this company on 10÷16÷15 it arrived 6 days later and the cross, that was rostered into the wood was very noticably crooked. I had also ordered a pendant that was fine. I spoke with customer service who insisted I send a pic of the urn to her to confirm there was something wrong, so I did. Their response was that the name plate was crooked. I told them no, I want it returned so I can get another urn for my brothers service. They replied with an email on how to fix the pendant! Again I emailed them back to send me a shipping label. That was 12 days ago and I have emailed them and left messages with no response. Shame, shame on a company that deals with grief and could care less about your loved ones remains. My brothers memorial service had his ashes in a box. DONOTBUYFROMTHISCOMPANY. BOYCOTTINTHENAMEOFMYBROTHER, A VETERAN, A GOODMAN.

Wish I would’ve read the Unilocal reviews for In The Light Urns prior to placing my order. Today is Thursday, August 13th2015. I placed my order last Wednesday, August 5th… and guess what? I still have NOT received my order!!! I placed an order in the amount of almost $ 200.00 and I’m pissed. What a horrible way to run a business FIRSTOFF. And SECONDLY what about the people that are already going through THEWORSTTIMESOFOURLIVES when we place our orders with this company! Very sad. I guess whoever answered the other poor reviews didn’t really get his point across in his meetings about«customer service». This company is a JOKE!

I ordered on November 18th with the expectation that I would have it in 4 – 6 days as it states CLEARLY on the website. I called and received an answer service that knows NOTHING about the business and stated I would get a call back at 8AM Pacific time. I received an email from«Tami» saying that shipping was delayed because of the HOLIDAY!!! I didn’t realize that Thanksgiving places a huge demand on the URN business! I would NOT recommend using this company unless they GUARANTEE or MONEYBACK when they will ship your order. Pathetic considering what their customers are going through at the time the place an order. STAYAWAY!!! NOVEMBER18th Order. DECEMBER1st «scheduled delivery» Pathetic and unethical.

Given the circumstances, it is a very somber time if you ever have to purchase anything here. With that said, I visited the on-line store to order a sympathy gift for a family friend that recently lost a loved one. I wanted to write this to let others know about the great customer service and how considerate the staff is there. I had a few questions about the order I placed(I can be pretty picky) and called the main number. I was pleasantly surprised when the person was super helpful and reassured me of my order and the timely delivery as well as being sensitive to the situation. My order was exactly what I expected and I received it on time and very, very satisfied. Got the gift to my friend on time and it made all the difference as he was going through a tough time.

They are quick to answer on chat when you inquire about urns. They say they ship out next day which is a lie. I ordered on Thursday night and my order did not ship out until tuesday. Mind you it was a holiday weekend but it still should have shipped out Friday. Now i have my sons ashes and no urn. I paid 89.99 for the urn and if i could do it again i would go somewhere else.

I purchased a shared pillow style urn for an at sea ceremony from in the light urns. It was essentially a paper envelope for 39.95. It stated that it would gently drift away in the water and after several minutes sink. I followed the directions and set my Mom in the water surrounded by flower petals and it immediately sunk. I contacted their live chat, no sorry no explanation. just curt answers and then when i asked where i could review the product i received no response until I initiated a second live chat. Very sad that such a company has no compassion.
