River View Restaurant & Lounge

We stopped in here merely by chance after spending a day at the Sequoia Park. The staff was very accommodating and getting us a table where we could sit with our dog. They brought out water to our dog immediately and make sure that we got water to as we were very dehydrated. The food was absolutely excellent. We ordered the hamburger, the steak sandwich, and the Caesar salad with chicken. We ate everything on our plates. We also ordered two desserts. The location is spectacular as the outside seating is directly over the river below. Amazing views. Definitely will come back.

I had been here once before, about a year ago, I should of kept going, terrible service… slow I’m mean Slooooow. I got there at 1:25 and didn’t get my food until 2:15, just a hamburger, the waiter said 2 big orders were before me… I’m sure because THEY FAILED TO TAKE MY ORDER! There was a different crew working since my last visit, and if, and I do mean IF I decide to stop here again, I’ll check and see who will be working. Buyer beware.

This restaurant has wonderful river views and the food, primarily pizza, is not bad. However, the service at the bar is terrible. They focus on the locals and only respond when you’re waving your hand. Food service at the bar is even slower. Never, ever going back.

The worst food in three rivers. The drinks are OK priced, but the beer selection is poor. Go elsewhere.

Delicious Spare ribs and sweet potato fries! The mozzarella sticks and beers on tap were great too. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the ambiance was relaxing with the river view.

Stopped for lunch after a 5 hour motorcycle ride. The burgers were just what the doctor ordered. Service was good, food came quickly, and was prepared just as I ordered. Great sitting outside on the patio watching the river rafters go by. We will be going back next time we are in the area.

We were here in early June, 2016. It is right on the river, which was roaring while we were there, so ask for a table outside. Try to time you visit with the sun setting, because the porch faces west and the sun can be tough before it goes down past the mountain, but it is really pleasant after. The food was good, and the service was small town attentive. The inside has a large dance floor and pool tables, but the porch feels more like a restaurant. Perfectly good for families.

Just had a really good dinner here outside on the awesome patio. Deonna and Hailey were super friendly and I had a good meal at a fair price. Had the chicken teriyaki sandwich and some really good crinkle cut fries. It is amazing to sit right outside watching the river rage by. Great live music on the weekends make this a fun and popular spot for the locals and tourists a like. Everyone is friendly and helpful at this place. Oh, and they have wifi! Which they are kind enough to let me stay here and use to write this review! Score!

10 minutes to order a drink from time we were seated, another 10 minutes and drinks still not here? Sorry we’re out. We left before even getting a drink because most of the staff seemed clueless and overwhelmed, even though it was not that busy really. Great view from the patio, but not worth waiting so long to get drinks and food.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. To start with, the service was terrible. It took almost two hours for two burgers and two rounds of drinks. We got our first drinks after 30 minutes and then waited and waited for our second round and food. Both burgers were bland and cold. They were supposed to come with tomato and a pickle spear which were nowhere to be seen. The salad was ok but my burger had onion rings on it and they were awful. Many people came in after we did and got their food long before we did. Our waitress must have forgotten to put our order in. I know most people discount bad reviews but do yourself a favor and don’t go here!

I came on a Friday night and it seemed they were about ¾ full at the time. (8:30pm) We had to seat ourselves, we weren’t given menus, they gave us 1 water (for 2 people), we put in drink orders and had to ask twice to get the drinks. The 2^nd drink order I walked up to the bar and grabbed myself as my waitress walked by me with someone to dance with. The food came out almost an hour after we ordered and the fish fillet was way over cooked and dark brown with a real lack of any fish inside it. The burger tasted frozen because it had a chewy consistency in the middle as it wasn’t cooked through all the way. At last they did swap out our fish for a turkey melt which was nice but still looked like a sandwich pack you pick up at the grocery store and microwave.
Long and skinny is that this place has a cool ambience but lacks severely in 1. Service and 2. Food quality. Best of luck next time.

A group of friends decided to dine here last night and encouraged my husband and I to join. We spent 20 minutes trying to find a parking spot. Not the restaurants fault, but be warned that Sunday’s when there is a live band, it’s crazy busy. The service is still some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. One waitress was on top of her game, but the rest don’t seem to give a crap about costumer satisfaction. The waitress who came to take our drink order, only brought for half of the table and then came back twice more asking what we ordered again. After another 15 minute wait, we went up to the bar to get our drinks ourselves. Thank goodness we did because she never came back, and our other waitress took great care of us for the remainder of the night. Ny husband and I ordered jalapeño poppers as an appetizer and the three rivers pizza. The poppers were hot and yummy, but the pizza was amazing. It had, bacon, pepperoni, and pastrami on it, along with a delicious bbq sauce. We were very satisfied with our meal. After we finished eating we had some drinks at the bar, but at one point the bartender was standing by the check in counter getting a shoulder massage, while we were waiting to be served. She was in no hurry to tend her bar area. My friend later, trying to be nice asked her if she wanted to do a shot with us girls, and she informed us that she was already stoned. Makes sense why our service was slow. I hate to say I won’t come back because we love the atmosphere and the food has greatly improved, but i doubt we will make a trip back as often as would if the service were decent. Also the drinks are crazy expensive compared to your typical bar. Not a budget friendly place, and not worth it considering the service.

They serve food like they never want you back. It wasn’t just bad it was sad. Maybe if you stick to nothing but bottled beer you will like the place… if you enjoy long waits. Maybe the old pot bellied geezer will come by your table while smoking as he randomly turns lights on and off leaving you sitting there in the dark.

I give it 3 stars because I only tried the beer and was too late in the night to do food. The bartender gal is a prime example of what customer service should be. I’m not a local, I’m an out of town and felt welcomed. The band that was here 4÷8÷16 was super good. I will be back there to try the food when I’m in town again. I forgot to mention even at night the sound of the river makes the moment even sweeter. I liked the outdoor area, even with the rain it was the place to be for a lot of us.

We used to always go to We Three Bakery, just a bit up the road from River View. But they closed and fortunately, there was the River View Restaurant. Great service, good food, decent prices, and of course, the view of the river was the cherry on top.

My husband and I have come camping in Three Rivers for 8 years but have never been in to Riverview. We went this weekend for breakfast and fell in love with it. Food was delicious and reasonably priced (he got the all meat burrito and I got bacon and eggs, we split a half order of biscuits and gravy), and the $ 5 bloody Mary’s and $ 4 mimosas topped it off. Our server was very attentive and friendly and you can tell it’s a favorite of the locals. The deck out back offers an amazing view. We will go back on our next visit to try lunch or dinner, but we were very happy with our breakfast experience and would highly recommend.

Little hole in the wall kind of bar, super nice service!
Was the only place open on a Tuesday night so we stopped in for a beer and burger, not disappointed at all!
Sirloin burger was awesome, and the sweet potato fries were the same!
If you can sit next to the fire place if you go at night. They have big glass windows so you can see the river in the day (probably for the summer) so it gets chilly.

Sadly, this place is a let down.
Yes, the view is incredible.
However, I got the worst food poisoning EVER from a basic chicken salad that they were serving for lunch.
Maybe the place is under new ownership (as this was a couple years ago), but I don’t want to risk it.
I’d go back for just a beer and the view, but not for food.

My friends and I decide to have some breakfast before heading into Sequoia National Park ad stopped at River View. We came in full force with a group of 15 but were easily accommodated. The service was on definitely point.
My bf and I ordered their giant breakfast which included scrambled eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, 4 pieces of sausage, hash browns and biscuits drowned in gravy.
The eggs, bacon and sausages were delicious but I wasn’t a fan of the hash browns as they had a very distinct taste of old oil and the biscuits and gravy were just meh.

The restaurant was pretty good over all.
Service was good along with the food and it’s priced well.
Best part was the view out on the deck, I will return again and would recommend to others.

Personnel hyper sympa, des wings de poulet à né pas rater. Une très jolie terrasse avec vue sur la rivière. Dans ce petit village c est le top.
