South Lanes is one of a select few places to visit for entertainment in Three Rivers. The lanes are decent, the facility is clean, and it is smoke free. For these reasons, our family usually visits when we are in from out of town and looking for an activity.
The customer service of this place has dropped dramatically since the days Jim and Mary would be in the building.
The new staff caters the the glow bowling crowd first and foremost. Stopped in at 8 tonight and felt like the counter guy was talking us out of bowling since we only had 1 hour before glow bowling began. Decided to bowl 1 game and was rushed out of the building at 8:35. They shut the lane down before the last bowler finished the 10th frame.
I won’t write them off yet because it may have just been an off day. Besides, I have had many good experiences here throughout the years. Just know that you will be chased out if you stop in to bowl a quick game before 9PM on a Friday or Saturday.
