Do not use this veterinary clinic. The vet Jon Bramson uses any excuse to jack up the bill and to do unnecessary tests. For a Giardia diagnosis(which wasn’t definitive despite the fact that the dog was positive for giardia) he ran the bill up to over $ 700. Instead of doing common things first, Jon wanted to do x-rays and an ultrasound. He made us believe the x-rays were necessary and then did not disclose that he was sending them off-site for reading. I demanded that be removed from the bill and he did(because that is a blatant license violation), but overall standard of care is seriously lacking. Instead of looking for the most common diagnosis(which would be common for most animals), Jon is looking to do every test known to man and dog-kind to unnecessarily inflate the bill. On the telephone as I was being told that the dog was positive for giardia, Jon was trying to convince me to test the dog for pancreatitis(a super rare ailment). Why on earth would a reputable or ethical veterinarian do this when we should be eliminating the giardia first? I will never ever use this clinic again and I advise everyone not to either, unless you want to do every possible test and pay $ 1000 for a $ 100 ailment.
