This is a beautiful salon when you walk in… up to date and very clean… however — I must say the hair cut I had was a huge disappointment. Paying $ 85.00 for a trim basically.(which is really all I wanted — I did not want a new hair style) but… no wash… no blow dry. She just kept adding different products to my dry hair and blowing it and fluffing it and twisting it. This had to be one of the weirdest hair experiences I have ever had. I definitely will not go back. I have lived in the area for a little over a year and am trying to find a good hair stylist… I have been to three people… this was the absolute worst. I guess I will keep looking.

Horrible establishment. The owner is a dingbat and probably a drunk. The blonde receptionist is an idiot and all she does is ramble and boss the staff around. All I could hear was the drama going on in the salon and their prices are insane for the quality. You would think Tiburon means high quality and with a name like champagne it should have been an amazing experience, but clearly it was terrible! This place could have so much potential if they got rid of the idiots running this place.

I just had my eyelash extensions done for the second time with Yami and have to write a review. I have had my eyelashes done in Mill Valley for a couple years and have had eyelash extensions for about 5 years. I have never had them done so perfectly. Yami starts first off by sanitizing her hands which I love and have never experienced before. Secondly, Yami doesn’t not over glue your lashes. They feel light and natural. Oh and there is a parking lot here which there was only street parking in Mill Valley.

I arranged to have my & my daughters hair done for my wedding. SHEWASTHEMAIDOFHONOR. The stylist I got was totally«clueless». How hard is wedding hair for a trained stylist? The one scheduled for my daughter called in sick so she had to wait until I finished. Clueless got her hair all wrong too & my daughter had to go back twice because it looked so bad once she got home & tried to repair it herself with a curling iron. SHEWASLATEFORMYWEDDING. The salon(if you can call it that) never offered so much as an apology. Do NOT trust them on your big day.

Went here after getting a gift certificate for a birthday. The service here is OUTSTANDING. We were 1 hour late, rushing to a wedding and somehow the salon was able to take care of us-and helped me relax with a nice glass of champagne! Candice did an EXCELLENT and impressively speedy blow out(and I’m quite picky, with thick frizzy hair). She is good, and while $ 60 is a bit much for just a blow dry-she is quite good. Also they accidentally charged me on my credit card but afterwards-voided and paid for the 7 dollar difference-very kind! 1 Star off because the massage was good, but not 5 star material; everything else was fabulous.

I’ve tried the majority of the services offered by this establishment. The Swedish Massage was okay, although I’ve experienced better. The massage therapist seemed more interested in holding a conversation than she did holding my shoulders. The mani/pedicurist gave me the best French tips I’ve ever gotten, although I don’t think she understood me when I thanked her. I’m sure she got the gist from the tip I gave her. My spray tan experience was fantastic. A quick, even spray supplemented with good conversation. The chemicals didn’t smell. The tan lasted 4 or so days. My last and final experience here is going to keep me from ever returning. On the day of my mother’s wedding, she and I made duo appointments for updo’s. Upon arrival, my mother and I were notified that only one hairstylist was available. Apparently, due to a «computer glitch,» one of the hairstylists who’d requested time off had actually been assigned one of our appointments. I waited patiently of the single hairstylist to finish my mother’s hair — which didn’t look all that great. The woman appeared frantic and in a rush. I didn’t blame her. I assured her that there was no rush and I’d rather she take her time with my hair than ruin it. She didn’t heed my advice. Two additional women were awaiting the stylist’s availability as she was working on my hair. Needless to say, it was rushed and I was compelled to completely redo the undo myself when I got back home. Of course I was late to the wedding and even burned my hand on my own curling iron as I was now rushing. I don’t blame the stylist, but the establishment itself made a BIG boo-boo and was unapologetic for it. I don’t quite understand not addressing the 3,000-lb. gorilla in the room but maybe it’s worked for other clients. Not me. I appreciate the other services but this experience left a lingering bitter taste in my mouth that will keep me from returning.

WOW what a classy establishment! Great 5 star service. I know what that is because I have worked at 2 different Ritz-Caltons in my day. From the moment you set your appointment you get an email to confirm to the tea service from the front desk to the coordination of services to the last email asking how they have done.. I had my hair cut and highlighted, and a manicure and a pedicure, so there were many services to coordinate. I had some bad hi highlights from another salon in SF that had turned an an awful yellow/oragne with roots showing. Candice the stylist is a miracle worker! She fixed to the color and styled it to perfection! After that I was getting a manicure on the lovely massage chairs and the owner, Maggie, brought me a complimentary glass of champagne! I also worked with an amazing nail tech that has been there for 9 years I think. Lots of scrubbing and massaging. Everything is very clean and organized to perfection and in its place. The bubbling fountain in the nail room really helped to make you feel you were somewhere special!

Very unprofessional and not customer service oriented at all. I had an appointment for a Brazilian bikini wax and when I made the appointment I was asked if it was for maintenance. I said, No, it had been quite some time since I’ve had a bikini wax. They booked me with Charlyn. The first thing Charlyn said to me was, «Oh my, your hair is so long. You should have trimmed it before coming in. I don’t have my clippers with me and I can’t wax it like that.» I have never felt so uncomfortable before in a salon. I suggested that perhaps, in the salon, somewhere, there might be a pair of scissors she could use — to which she replied — well, no, they’re really particular about that. In the end, she found a pair of scissor and proceeded to humiliate me about how long my pubic hair was – and how she has been doing this for more than 20 years. I will not be going back to this salon.

The first time I went there I had an appointment with Jeanine. When I got there for my appointment, they told me that it is with another person altough they had confirmed it the day before. To get an haircut from Jeanine, I had to re– schedule, which I did. My haircut was ok. And this salon is near my home so I decided to go and see Jeanine for the second time. Although I had an appointment that was confirmed the day before, Jeanine made me wait for 20 minutes and she was not going to be done anytime soon. So, I left and I will never go back there. Don’t waste your time there!

I was a little hesitant to see if they could do a guys hair, and boy was I more than pleasantly surprised. They were able to meticulously craft my pompadour like they have been doing my hair for years. I am very picky about my hairstyle, but I will be going back to them from now on. I not only recommend women, but men as well.

At first I was a bit apprehensive of the strip mall looking exterior surrounding, and then I stepped into the Day Spa that is Champagne Salon in Tiburon. I was greeted immediately by my esthetician Anja with a big ol smile on her face. She whisked me back to her lair filled with big kushy heated blankets, candles and flowers, relaxing aroma therapy; all you could want for a birthday treat to yourself. Anja was great, I highly recommend her for your facials and waxing! She explained each product and its value before application. Her motions were soothing and confident; she is my age so I was surprised to learn that she had been doing this for over 6 years! She even gave me a little clarisonic which is a product I have been interested in buying for my at-home treatments. All throughout the facial I was on the verge of deep sleep, but I wanted to stay awake to chat with Anja, she was so pleasant! Afterwards I was reluctant to leave; I wanted to book another service immediately. I can’t wait to come back and see what other services she provides! My skin was glowing, clean, free of dark circles, gaping holes and bright red dots. She did a great job, I wish I could be there once a week, now that would be nice :)

I am writing this review on behalf of my wife. She frequents Champagne Spa often and she likes Suzanne’s service. She is very professional and does a great facial every time! Too bad this place is located in a somewhat rundown mall, I hope with Peet’s coffee coming into the mall, it will bring lots business to CSDS. Overall, great place to get your facials and massages

My wife had her hair done here — WOW, what a grave mistake! Awful color, the cut looked as if it was done by someone in(early) training. The person cutting her hair complained throughout the visit about her health and that she might have to go home. This is a horrible salon, expensive and no quality whatsoever. Stay away.

Beware of estheticians who don’t know what they are doing. Went in for a lash and brow tint. Charlyn offered to trim my brows. What a mistake. Who ever heard of a crew cut for your brows!!! I have been going to the salon for about 7 years. Called the owner to complain and never heard a peep.

I go to Champagne Salon for my spray tans and would recommend them to everyone! Seriously, I actually referred my mom here, and now she is hooked on spray tans. The spray tan look so natural and is perfect for special events like weddings, birthdays, New Year’s Eve, or if you’re just just looking for a nice summer glow! I would ask for Maggie, the owner, to do the tans. She is the best! She even squeezed me in after closing time because that’s the only time I could come in. I know many people are hesitant about spray tans but I promise it’s worth it! You’ll look naturally sun-kissed but don’t have to feel guilty about those harmful UV rays!

I am a bit hesitant about writing this as I feel Ahn is my own personal gem. If you want the best mani-pedi you have ever had, visit this salon! It is a bit more expensive than some but totally worth every cent. The massage alone is worth the price! Oh and my toes look amazing for months.

Candace is a lovely girl and great at highlights — just don’t accidentally book her for color and cut if she is having a period as she disappears to lie down for 15 mins at a time and then can’t carry on so you have to blow dry your own hair and re-book a cut for another day. My bleached highlights were straw at the ends but I’m not sure she would have bothered to check if she hadn’t been fetched by the manager when I got worried. Pretty pathetic. Having gone to her for 2 years I just had enough. NOT professional.

Went to visit Champagne Salon and Day Spa yesterday. What a great place to relax and get pampered. I was impressed with their warm and efficient customer service. The owner was very friendly, sincere and very hands on. They also carry a lot of great products, Bumble and Bumble, Bare essentials, Skinceuticals, and Osmosis to name a few. The interior of the place looks very elegant, yet fun and welcoming. Lots of different services, including spray tanning, manicure, pedicure, facials, massages, hair, make-up, waxing, etc., all at a reasonable price. I think it’s a place where you can easily spend a whole day pampering and enjoying yourself. I highly recommend it.

I just had my hair cut by Eve and she is awesome. Basically«The Works» come standard so I’ll start at the top. I was running a little late, about 5 min so I called and the receptionist said«Not a problem, take your time. Would you like to have some champagne when you come in?» Yeah, I smiled when I heard that and dutifully accepted. Eve was standing at the front when I walked in, handing me the glass as we walked to the chair. She asked me what I wanted, she said it would help if we thinned out my hair a bit, and then she went to work. After washing my hair for me(love that part, I’m a guy so it’s that much better), I worked on my champagne while she worked her magic on my crazy curly hair. When the cutting was done, she sprayed in some vitamins(BB Prep I think), followed up with something that helped tame my stray frizz, which all you curly hair people can relate to, and then put in one last thing that helped define the curls more. Really was an awesome day and I had to write about it. As a side note, I see the comment below about the $ 70 bucks but that is what the haircut costs which is right on the front of their flier. And mine did include everything they said they would so i can’t complain. If you aren’t getting what you read about or what you are expecting for that matter, call them out on it. I’m sure they would help you out. In general, you never wait till the end of something to try and negotiate a price. Eve if you ever go on here, thank you!

Four stars only because this is a new Day Spa in Tiburon. But I know with the first introduction I received to this new facility at a Chamber event a couple months ago that this will be a 5-star rating in no time. The Champagne family purchased the old«Salon One» Hair & Nail Salon and have completely upgraded the services to meet the expanding needs of the Tiburon peninsula. There is a Grand Opening of the Champagne Salon & Day Spa on Sunday, October 21st from 1 – 5 that is open to everyone interested in their services. Maggie Champagne, the proprietor, is also introducing a new SkinMaster™ facial at the spa on Sunday. In addition, Maggie and her staff will be providing a tour of the spa facilities to introduce both old & new clients to the new«Premier Luxury Day Spa» facilities. Please come out and see what a little«Champagne» can do for you. .. .
