Grants for Good Foundation

Grants for Good Foundation put on the SF Bay Dream Home raffle in 2011 (
). Each ticket cost $ 150.00. I bought two tickets. On October 6, 2011 I recevied a letter that I had won $ 500.00 and was told to expect my money within 60 days. The website also states winners will receive their prize money within 60 days. On November 28,2011 I e-​mailed Grants for good and told them I hadnt received my check yet and asked when I could expect my money and was told the bookkeeper was behind and to expect it mid-​December. December 15,2011 I emailed again and was told the bookkeeper would be in the following week to write more checks. At this point it was over the 60 days (70 days) and I asked to have a supervisor contact me. I received a call a few days later from a man who said he was a supervisor and that the hold up on my check was not because of the bookkeeper but because they were waiting for the money from the donors in order to pay the raffle winners!!! Who holds a raffle without having the money to pay the winners? 76 days and counting and I still have not received a check. It is disgusting that a so called ‘charity ’ scams people out of their money!
