Rebecca’s food is delicious. She’s catered many events for me and the service, food, and organization have been outstanding. She has cooked for me for over twenty years. My last event with her was a women’s retreat and everyone loved the food. Rebecca is my go-to girl for parties big and small.

Hired Rebecca for a work event at a Board member’s home — cooking class for 12 of foods for Rosh Hashanah. She did an amazing job and the dinner was phenomenal. Brought her own equipment and cleaned up! Would DEFINITELY turn to her again. Great cooking tips, recipes, and really good with people.

Rebecca’s demeanor and food were good, not great, but definitely good. Here’s the tip. You MUST pay her the night of the event, no matter what she says. I offered to pay her the night of the event and she said, «don’t worry, I’ll invoice you.» Less than a week after receiving her invoice, I initiated a bank«bill pay» for the full amount of the invoice. I sent her an email letting her know and saying, «if you don’t get the check soon, call me and I’ll look into it.» I pay lots of vendors through bill pay and have never had an issue. Less than a week later, I received notice that the check had been cashed and didn’t think anything of it. A month later, I was served with small claims papers by a Marin County Sheriff coming to my house and scaring me to death. I thought somebody had died. Instead, I found out that a commercial transaction that I thought had been finalized a month earlier had taken a bizarre twist. 3 days after I asked her to call me if there were any further issue, she filed a small claims action in which she said that I «refused to pay.» Despite receiving the check the next day as promised by the bank, she did not notify me of having filed an action against me and has been non-responsive to my requests for her to dismiss this ridiculous claim. Two months after paying her, I will have to go to court and wait for hours to hand the judge a cancelled check that she received the day after, as promised. I do not know how she runs her business this way, but I would go to anyone but her.
