Richardson Bay Park

The views here are impressive, and it is the perfect route to bike or run on.

Pretty, lots of grass and a nice walking trail w a view of sf. Take this instead of a Tylenol.

This has got to be the most beautifully situated soccer field and park in the entire Bay Area, if not the state, if not the Western U.S., if not the, well… you get the idea. It’s a strip of green nestled alongside Richardson Bay on Tiburon Blvd., which is the road from Mill Valley to Tiburon. There is parking at Blackie’s Pasture, which has a big statue of a horse (Blackie, duh.). Walk along the path a bit and you’re at McKegney Green, the field. Sigh. You are looking out at the water, a slice of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline. If you’re lucky, there will be little white sailboat sails to complete your visual happiness. Sigh again because you are so fortunate to live in (or be visiting) the Bay Area. If you keep walking, you’ll be at the park, which has play structures for the kiddos.
