Tiburon Baptist Church

I have been attending TBC for quite some years and have seen it go through many transitions but through it all, it remains a house of faith and integrity! We are again going through a time of transition as the GGBTS seminary relocates to SoCal taking with it our lead pastor and a few other key people who are also professors there. Even So, we remain truly blessed with our dynamic family minister Brice Butler, who leads vital family ministries and preaches Gods word with a twinkle in his eye and a contemplative challenge! God has also been so very good to us by providing an excellent interim pastor, Don Dent, who speaks as Gods servant with grace, wisdom and authority! I always take home an applicable lesson that saturates my mind all week motivating me to be the person God intended for me, pliable and filled with His love… to share. We also have been recently blessed with a new vivacious music/​worship leader who is young and on fire for the Lord! Im excited for 2016 to see where the Lord takes TBC this year!

I went to this church to vote in the recent election. The volunteers were incredibly nice to everybody and one of them went out of his way to help this older gentleman who was having some trouble with the path.
Watching the news coverage about the long lines in some areas, with people waiting all day to cast their ballot, I was grateful that places like Tiburon Baptist open their doors as a polling location.
It is tucked away and a little difficult to find. But it is a beautiful setting! SInce I live nearby, I’ve been back several times to enjoy the view and the peaceful feeling.
