I have eaten at Casa Tequila more times than I can count and I have was at least good. My favorites are definitely their seafood selection. I love the fish tacos and my usual is the Camarones Tequila that comes with tilapia.
For desert I recommend their Flan.
The service is normally pretty quick from taking my order to delivering the food.

Love this place for its prices and delicious food. For a town that has no stoplights, this place is great. It’s mildly authentic compared to La Regia but much more than other Mexican places in Coralville. I love their tamales! The atmosphere is great and family-friendly. Service is fast unless the place is slammed — which can happen on weekends. Still, if you’re waiting a long time for food, the free chips and salsa helps.

Writing this review after visiting this restaurant several times.
The place is decent, servers do a great job and food is excellent. I like their quesedilla fajitas. Those are awesome and filling.

So service is always a little slow. They are polite and the food is good. Portion size is off the charts with the Fajitas but that is why we go as a family. Two diner orders some extra tortillas and we are set as a family. We usually are are able to take some home as well.

The food was good for lunchtime get away. Didn’t care for the sliced avocado on top of the burrito… something that was corrected eight away. The soda drink tasted like sediment. I’m thinking it could be the water system in town… definitely needs a filter system. Other than that, I will be back.

The food is so fresh and flavorful! The chicken quesadilla is my favorite!!! My husband loves the seafood burrito. The price is low and the service is outstanding!

I went to this place during midweek based on friend’s recommendation. Parking is easily available but don’t expect this during weekends or Friday night. The waitress was the most rude person I saw! She guided us to the table next to the bathroom while the place was almost empty. When I asked if she could change it she became upset and didn’t like the request at all. They changed the waitress without notifying. The soda was horrible and tasteless. Food was average at best and nothing special compared to other mexican restaurants in Iowa city/Coalville area. When we asked for a box to take extra food the waitress asked us to place food by ourselves! I don’t recommend this place
