Holiday Inn Express Tiffin

Late Check in. We didn’t get here until almost midnight and the staff was just as helpful as if it was twelve noon. Hot Coffee and tea awaited our arrival, YES Hot coffee and tea at Twelve Midnight! It was a refreshing and painless check in. Our room was clean and cozy and this is BIG for someone who is absolutely serious about finding out if a hotel has bed bugs!!! NONE HERE, Thank God! Hot water and excellent water pressure is important after an 9 hour drive! Two thumbs up for Holiday Inn, waiting to be impressed by the included breakfast…

The staff at this Holiday Inn was fantastic! We were traveling on Military orders with my three kiddos two English Bulldogs and my Beta fish. The staff was super helpful and kind I always worry that my skin color will be a conflict only because I had a bad experience in some other states but Tiffin was super awesome. The rooms were clean they didn’t smell like smoke or mold or animals the little town of Tiffin was so cute and I loved the mom and pop places! This HIE is a must especially if you are traveling with your beloved fur babies ! Ooooo I also learned a new Way to spruce up my landscaping just by walking around their landscaping some other hotels needs to find out their secret

Excellent stay. I can’t think of any issues. From friendly check-​in, to efficient check-​out, it was a great time. Well, okay, some of the guests were noisy in the hall at midnight and in the morning, but I’m blaming that more on the guests. Otherwise the place was quiet and comfortable.
Now, we didn’t pay– yet– because Sweetie’s parents had reserved the room and paid for it. They didn’t end up staying, so we had a suite to ourselves. We’ll get them back somehow ;) It was really just one big room, with two very comfortable queen beds and a nice foldout couch. There is a kitchenette, and a large closet. The bathroom was pretty big, and the décor everywhere was updated and in great shape.
We missed the free breakfast, and passed on the pool, but both looked decent. I don’t know how many hotel options there are in Tiffin, but I’m glad we stayed at this one.

Located in a small community with a few other competitors, this hotel is a great option if not the best option in town.
Having said that there are two other hotels that I have stayed in that were good and the staff were friendly but they just are not as good as this hotel.
This Holiday Inn Express is the gold standard for the brand. The staff obviously take great pride in the hotel and it shows from the top down. Everyone is friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms are nicely sized, super clean (this is coming from a clean freak) and quiet. They have a appropriately sized work out facility and indoor pool.
After a good and quiets nights sleep here you will wake up to a complimentary paper and breakfast in their dinning area.
The housekeeping staff take their jobs seriously and I ever so appreciate it. These rooms are clean and the linens appear pressed and tucked to perfection.
(A side note to my fellow vets, I’m pretty sure you could bounce a quarter off these beds no problem!)
Your room comes complete with good sized mini fridge, microwave and the other standard room appliances. I make mention of the large mini fridge and microwave because these items are becoming less and less available in hotels and they are a luxury if you are staying more then a night OR are traveling with children. These refrigerators are not the tiny ones that hold a drink or two, they are a good size with a freezer section on top.
On three of my visits here I have had the opportunity to visit with Angel and during my last I met Erin. They are both super helpful, professional yet friendly. I have enjoyed every visit here and it is great to come back year after year and see familiar faces.

I stayed here one night on business. It was a pleasant stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was clean and updated. There weren’t many food options close by, so I ordered Donatos and they delivered it to my room. :) I had no issues with noise. The pool, fitness room, and breakfast were typical HIX. I would definitely stay here again.
