DONOTCOMEHERE. Had to wait. Over 30 min for drinks then they did not refill them. Ordered at the same time I had ordered my drinks and it has been over an hour for my food and still nothing. I will not come back to this restaurant EVER!!! A shame because I loved stake and shake.

I like Steak’n’Shake and always prefer it to the other fast foods. But after visiting this one may reconsider. I waited to be seated more than 5 minutes and nobody even was paying attention. After asking waitresses(twice), was told that they are busy(though it was half empty). The last person explained that I would have to wait even longer to get my food and if I’m in a hurry better leave. Which I did. Also the floors were greasy like in a cheap ghetto eatery

This has got to be the WORST place EVER, can’t get an order right to save their lives! I ordered a double burger PLAIN I even said«no cheese no nothing just meat & bread» what did I get? A double burger with mayo… I ordered a Taco salad and asked for a side of Salsa. Lil girl says«oh we serve it with ranch» my reply was«yes I know, but I also want a side of Salsa… what did I get??? A side of KETCHUP are you kidding me? ??? At this point my husband is P. Oed and turns around and goes back!!!(Yes it was a take out order)

I love this restaurant brand but I am mixed concerning this restaurant. First of all, please allow me to say that I am HUGE on customer service. I can accept so-so food but if there is excellent customer service I can look past the food experience, most of the time. But, at this place I have yet to see any manager doing any type of walkthrough. Do they care about customer opinion and visibility? They should. The waitresses should take more pride in their job. It always takes a minute or so to be «recognized» and acknowledged. And then the waitress grabbed a couple menus and proceeded to the table and expected me to realize she was seating me. She gave the look over her shoulder that said, «Are you watching?» The food was great as always but the customer serve… meh. I also realize that the front of the house staff needs to accomplish napkin refilling, silverware prep, and other tasks. Sometimes this has to be accomplished at an unused table. But, when you are completing these tasks you should not be on your phone and doing other things in front of customers. It simply gives your store a bad presence, at least to me. When you are in view of customers act professionally.

Food is predictably stake and shake. Service is typical south. I love it when people complain about it. Hey. This is how the south rolls folks. Breakfast is served until 11 am. Several meals or burgers for $ 4 with fries included. Can’t beat the prices. Shakes are Great.

Placed an order and waited 15 minutes and went to the counter to see what the problem could be and there was no food on the grill. I was the only one in the restaurant. I told them I didn’t have time for this and wanted my money back. Now they don’t want to give me my money back($ 7.03).Ignored my request for my money back and then had the nerve to ask me what I had ordered. I came back two days later and gave them a second chance once again to either prepare my meal or return the money. DENIED!Very rude and refused. Called their corporate office and no response back. When a customer is already upset they should just give them their $.$$ back.

I havent been to this particular restaurant in many years. Annette is a good server. Nice & kept the cup filled. I had the ‘Original’ breakfast. Doesnt say ‘Original’ on the menu. If u frequent Hall’s in Ft Wayne, it would be about the same as the breakfast ‘Special’. Ill be back

First off, I love Steak n Shake… just not this location. We placed 3 separate orders. 2 of the 3 were wrong! The bread on my hamburger was stale and was falling apart as I tried to eat it. They forgot my fries… and I had to go back and ask for them. Another order was missing the order of cheese fries and the chili was a greasy mess. The restaurant is located in a gas station/truck stop along with a subway. It is also not in the most safe area. In addition, It’s is not clean and the service is sub-par, to say the least. We are disappointed and will never stop at this location again.

I love Steak ‘n Shake! However this was the worst I’ve ever had. Received service through drive-thru and was told to pull up and wait, when they finally brought our food every burger was cold! :-(was so hungry and sooo disappointed

Worst experience ever. I pulled up to the drive thru and there were 2 cars ahead of me to place their order. They placed their order and moved to the window. I sat in my car waiting at the speaker for my order to be taken. I waited over 5 minutes and watched both cars get their food and leave. I still sat their waiting. I saw a couple employees even go up to the window and look at my vehicle waiting at the speaker. They STILL did not take my order. I drove up to the window thinking they would take my order there. Nope. They continued to walk past the window and one employee even had their Beats music headset plugged into their phone over their ears! We honked the horn in our vehicle and one employee then opened the window and just looked at us. She STILL didn’t say anything! I asked if they were open and she just said«yea». I said«ok, we have waited for about 15 minutes and no one has taken our order.» She slightly rolled her eyes and didn’t apologize or say anything! I’m fairly certain this was racial because the people ahead of me were black and were served fine. We were white and the employees who were black even SPEAK to us! Unbelievable!

Ok, so it’s a burger place ! I don’t usually frequent fast food establishments, but I was traveling with 2 of the male species so I knew this would make them happy. However, I was very happy as well. The chili at that location was top notch and the burger I created was a double steak with cheddar and sour dough, my waitress was pleasant and no attitude about my changes and requests, she granted my every wish like the food fairy she was, in a professional cheerful manner. The FAST part of the fast food was true to genre! Highly recommended for this type of foodery!
