Super 8 Tifton

This hotel is HORRIBLE! We were passing thru going to FL from MN and this was our last night before we got to our destination. The room was not only dirty and dingy, it was in disrepair. There were only two towels in the bathroom. The sink stopper was broken. The lamp shades were dirty, crooked, and broken. The bathroom was gross. DO NOT GO here! Spend a couple more dollars and go elsewhere OR stay in your car!

As mentioned below, the rooms were very dirty. I found a few balls of human hair and cut toenails. Ewwwww! They need to vacuum the rooms after each visit. The beds were comfortable, but the dirtiness off the room was a major put off. Our room was missing the refrigerator and microwave. We asked specifically if they were in each room and was told yes. I won’t stay again. They get the two stars because the staff is nice.

I don’t often stay at Super8, ok To be honest, this is the first time i’ve ever stayed at one.
This is an older property, the owner lives at the location, and clearly he cares about the people who stay there. I arrived around 2:30 in the morning, checked in and was given a decent room. I say decent, because the bed covers were all stained, but the sheets were clean and the pillows were in good shape.
I tucked into bed, and ended up not sleeping well, tossing and turning, perhaps because I was uncomfortable or just over tired, I’m not sure, but in any case, when I went to check out, Kenny said that he’d told the house keeping staff not to wake up up until after noon — a good hour after checkout.

I was visiting my girlfriend who lived in GA, I came in from CA. After doing alotta driving & site seeing we were tired & needed to relax, and I wanted a place with a pool to help cut the heat. We called around looking for a good rate, but didn’t want anything seedy. I called Super 8 and spoke to Kenny. I he told me the rates, it’s was a tad above my budget but he worked with me & was very friendly. We went to the motel to take a look at the rooms, they looked clean, and neatly kept. So we went ahead with the booking. We stayed September 2^nd through the 5^th, 2014. The first room we checked into had a slight cig smell & rightfully so, it was a smoking room. I went back and asked if we could switch to a non-​smoking room closer to the pool. Without hesitation he relocated us & apologized for the odor in the first room. We were happy with the 2^nd room, right around the corner from the pool. Air conditioner was nice and cool, our room was like an ice box, just like I wanted it. carpets were clean, linens clean, I wasn’t leary about wal ki no on the carpets the entire room was nice. I went to get ice and the ice machine had stopped working so I went to the front desk and told Kenny, he told me of the ice machine on the 2^nd floor. I told him we both had bad knees and walking up stairs was a chore, he immediately went into his personal refrigerator and brought back a bucket of fresh ice for us… wow, most people wouldn’t do that. The maids had no problem with extra towels or pillows either. The only complaint I’d give was the pool could’ve been a bit cleaner BUT that’s minor, we still used it, the water was nicely heated and felt wonderful. My girlfriend and I really have no complaints about this place. I would definitely stay here again. Kenny made our stay pleasany, enjoyable and hassle free. Thank you Kenny and the entire staff at Super 8 in Tifton, GA.

Worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed in! Very dirty!!! The carpet looks like its never been cleaned and dust all over the place. But even worst than that was that the bed and towels had hair on them!!! Soooo gross… When we asked for clean sheets we were given an attitude. My husband was told that we were not paying for a $ 100 hotel room. Ok fine, it was just one night and it was cheap but I at least expect clean sheets! And the owner and customer service was horrible! Dirty and bad attitude. Would never stay here again. Beware! Would give this hotel zero stars of I could.
