1st time in Georgia and was told this was the place to try fried green tomatoes(another 1st for me). I really enjoyed them along with the fried chicken. The employees were friendly and you couldn’t beat the prices. Thanks lil boss :)

I drop by this place whenever I go to visit family in Georgia. I found it accidently when my gps took me to a chicken place that had gone out of business. The fried chicken is delicious. I always get greens(I think canned but seasoned just right) and cornbread(not the sweet kind) with it. I’ve alternated other sides. I usualy get it to go and eat the cornbread and greens in the parking lot. Sometimes when I’ve ordered, I’ve been guided to a special that was cheaper or more food for the price. That’s Southern hospitality right there. They are fast too. The iced tea is good, which you’d expect. They have some pretty desserts but I’ve never tried them. I’m from Alabama and Georgia, and this is a must stop on the way or the way back — sometimes both!

I reek of grease still and I walked out of Wishbone half an hour ago. I had a pork sandwhich with a side of greens and my father in law had a pork dinner with black eyed peas and fried okra. I thought that this was the south and that cooking barbeque poorly was a sin? Every vegetable we had tasted of warm aluminium can and the barbeque sauce wasobviously from some industrial size container. My parting thought, while looking at everyone elses plates filled with fried chicken, was I next time try the chicken.
