Yellow Monkey Frozen Yogurt

The place is cute, has many options and right next to the gym so has good business. It isnt too expensive.

Stopped on our way through for a much needed pit stop. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of yogurt flavors to choose from as well as juice and smoothies. If you like a sweeter smoothie make sure to ask for it that way– they are not sweet at all (mine tasted fine but my husband and a few others said they weren’t sweet enough). They have a few couches and a chalkboard wall which was fun for the kids.

We really like Yellow Monkey but there are some things that bother me about how they operate. Their yogurt is better, IMO, than their competitor. In addition, the people are nice and the place is kid friendly. My first problem is with atmosphere. The last few times we’ve been in, they’ve played this depressing slow rock/​pop (Adele, etc) and it just kills any fun summer vibe you’d expect to find at a place painted like the Googleplex.
Secondly, I worry they won’t be here in a year. We’ve been in at times when they have three girls working at once (and we were their only customers). This place could operate with a single person. This was on a Monday night. Their competitor, we noticed, was packed.

Great yoghurt selections, cool hangout place and really good service. Get a punch card if you’re a regular! Love it!
