I have been working with Jeremy Shook for advice and tax services for nearly a decade, and Jim before that. Close to another decade. They’ve advised me through new business formations, business partnership changes, life changes and it has always been a great comfort to know they are in my corner. Never have I had an issue or a problem. More importantly, I’ve never had a worry that the work wasn’t done right. I recommend them to business associates and personal friends all the time. Cheri provides a friendly greeting whether I call or show up at the office, and I almost look forward to tax time for this reason!

James did our taxes last year. He initially told me that he would charge me $ 795 to complete them. Later on he found that he had to also do a foreign earned income paper and said that his fee would be slightly higher to complete that. He ended up charging me $ 1399 and he filed the paper late! I complained that charging me $ 599 extra was not a slight increase in fees, but he would not negotiate with me. I found a new CPA to do my taxes (5 stars on Unilocal). She did an excellent job for only $ 579.
