Walmart Supercenter

Went to Walmart for some quick shopping for some dinner & drinks too bring back to the hotel & this little bitch ass Walmart security guard denied my purchase because a 48 year old grown ass man behind me, my coworker had a id that had dog bite marks in it… That’s fine fuck Walmart & good luck putting back all the groceries punk ass wanna be rent a cop. Walmart just lost a whole moving fleet worth of customers!

Toba an employee who I’m prettyyyy sure plays World of Warcraft in the basement of his mothers house while dreaming about riding dragons, today accused me of stealing as I was walking out with MY receipt. Apparently if you are a minority you will get stopped in this store.

Great customer service, always willing to take me to product, and great instock. Cashiers are fast and friendly too!

I find stuff to buy, I check myself out, I go home and enjoy the bought things.
The selection is decent, the prices are okay. The customer service is pretty meh, sometimes you get enthusiastic people that like your Star Wars pick, or you get grouchy people who would like to slam your fruit down your throat. Kind of a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀.
But they’ve lost my online orders a few times and I’m not sure what happened, it might have been a system glitch, however they called me to come back three times and each time was a false alarm. So they definitely dropped the ball on that for me.

I went and had the battery in my watched replaced. The lady at the jewelry counter wasn’t very professional abd customer service wasn’t very good. She shattered the glass on my watch. She told me she had to send it to a other company to get it fixed. I went to pick up my watch. It wasn’t even my watch. I was a little furious that she wouldn’t give me my original watch back so I could get it fixed somwhere else. I will never go back to Walmart again. Very disappointed!

I found what I needed, plus a little extra.
First time here at Tigard Walmart. Sunday morning, parking lot empty. I meandered into the Home Electronics for a TV antenna. They had plenty to chose from $ 10 — 60. I got some advice from a website on how to secure HD channels at home w/​o resorting to cable. I was conducting a bit of experiment.
No one helped me. The fella that seemed to be working the dept., didn’t greet me. One thing I like about a Walmart is that staff do not offer to help. But on the other hand if you need help —– are you going to receive real assistance?
I can find my way around, so no harm. Store was clean and there were no toddlers screaming.
Cashier was fine and said I answered my questions about a possible return. A good experience.

FIrst of all I must say that the Pharmacy is wonderful. My prescriptions are always filled quicker than any other pharmacy i’ve used. I plan on continuing using them!
As for the rest of the store; customer service is lacking, you can never find an employee when you need one. and when you do see them, they avoid eye contact at all costs.
This last week I was looking for a back massager and had looked in every department i thought could have one. I finally found an employee in the bedding area (about 3 or 4 aisles from the pharmacy). I told her i was looking for a back massager and before i could finish my sentence she interrupts me to tell me they are located in the pharmacy department. She turns around and starts to walk away. I then said i had looked in pharmacy and couldn’t find the massagers. I also asked if she could show me. She turns back around, lets out a disgusted sigh, flails her arm in the direction of pharmacy, says «Over there, can’t you see it?» and walks away from me again.
I would have complained when I was in the store, but couldn’t find anyone to complain to.

The customer service here is excellent! They are extremely helpful! Other Walmart’s around the area you don’t get this.

I left Walmart comforted. Comforted that if I were to lose the use of half of my brain, there’d still be a place willing to hire people like me.
The depth of incompetence here — from the people working the floor, the photo center, the managers — is astounding. At baseline, the metro-​Portland area makes me worry about the future of our grand country. But after just a few minutes at Walmart in Tigard, the situation seems hopeless. Avoid at all costs.

Purchased an expensive small electronic online. While waiting 3 weeks for it to arrive, I decided I didn’t really need it and wanted to return it. The return instructions that came with the item and through email told me it was easy, just go to the store with the item, the packaging it came in, and have a return barcode scanned.
Today, I made a special trip to Walmart (it isn’t convenient, hence the shopping online). I had everything I needed to return it and was informed by their customer service that I had to mail it back and could not return it to the store.
I showed her the email and she replied «I don’t know why they tell people that, because we can’t accept returns for online purchases.»
Walmart is a dinosaur and I don’t know why I gave their online business a chance. Costco and Amazon for me.

I TRIED to tell them this location floods frm time to time.
07 DEC 2015 it did. Big time. The end nearest the Costco… 2 feet of water… unsure of the damage in the back. Note to self: Do not buy a used car from any of the employees.

I will tell my avid Walmart shopping mom, coworkers, friends, family and anyone else who will listen. Don’t buy any electronics from Walmart, ever! My husband bought me a pile of crap Acer laptop, the laptop started to freeze up and was broken after two weeks. In all fairness I used the laptop a total of 3 times and my husband washed the receipt in his jeans.
Apparently the receipt wasn’t the problem, the problem was that I surpassed the 15 day window they allow for all electronic returns. I was on day 17! They looked up my account via credit card & knew it was there product. However due to me going over there 15 day return rule I left with nothing but a broken laptop. Fred Meyers, Best Buy, Target all honor returns if the product is broken, but not Walmart. I vow to never ever buy even a roll of toilet paper there again, unless I can take it and shove it down the throats of the person who thought it was fair to sell a broken product to a consumer and not exchange it within their 15 day period. Walmart you lost more money and costumers over this situation then you realize yet. As far as I am concerned Walmart took $ 320.00 from me. With that said I am done with you. By the way, train your customer service team to not roll there eyes with a cocky diva attitude when faced with issues.

This Walmart is definitely bigger than the other Walmart but again it is a supercenter. So we came here to find swimming googles. Unfortunately they were out. Maybe bigger doesn’t mean they always have everything.
Like all other Walmart don’t expect too much service because that’s not how it works, if you want cheap price.
Prices are awesome like all other Walmart. It is quite clean and organized. The staff are diligent in keeping everything on the shelf in the right place.

Ya seen one Walmart, you’ve seen them all. Right? Wrong. This one is bigger, and shinier and has the nicest customer service people.
6 months it’s been open and there are never lines. That makes me think that people just haven’t discovered it yet. That or they just have so many registers open and so many self-​serve registers to use that it seems that way.
My favorite thing about this store is the recycle center. It is indoors and always spotless. The machines are new, so they don’t get jammed up as much as if you go to another grocery store with older ones. Also, because they keep it so clean, bees don’t find their way in — like they do at the grocery store down the street. No, I’m not allergic, but I am a huge scaredy cat, so this store is a blessing, because I never again will have to run away screaming; leaving my cart of bottles and cans behind because bees have infiltrated my cart.

If I could I give give negative 5. This place sucks! The employees are rude and inconsiderate. I grab my wrong debit card going out the door so it was declined at the registered I apologized and said I would run to the bank and come back they started hassling me telling me I HAD to pay for the things because they had rung it up already and could not be returned, really? Yelling it to the whole store — so unprofessional. I’ll stick to winco and Costco.

I wish I can give this a higher review… but I can’t. There is NEVER enough registers open. There is ALWAYS a huge line. I see this everytime I go there. I go there once a week.
The store and prices are awesome. Everything seems organized. It’s in pretty good shape for a walmart store.
However, they are quite a few employees that may need additional training in how to ring up groceries. They were just super slow, unsure of what to do. Practice makes perfect, I know. But c’mon. Atleast get someone more experienced who is faster when there is a huge backed up line. Some of the employees also like to stand around and exchange cigarettes. Yeah, there needs to be more order eith the workers.
Other than that. I always spend more than I should. Ha. I am very thankful there is a walmart close by.

I’ve ordered online and scheduled pick up two times already and both times were awful. There is no one at the pick up desk and you have to push a button to call someone. It took me 45 minutes to pick up an order the first time (They couldn’t find the order of the lady in front of me and they were scrambling around trying to find it). I thought that the first time may have been a rare instance, and came back a second time a few months later. The second time it took about 20 minutes for someone to show up at the counter (you could hear it over the intercom every 5 or so minutes requesting an associate show up) and they had to go in and out of the stock room again looking for the item. It seems like it is very disorganized at this location.

Super pissed and heartbroken! Trying to do Thanksgiving dinner here at the house, and we get a small boneless turkey breast. The one we got from target was nice and decent and this one that we bought from Walmart was fucked up! Go figure 2 days before thanksgiving! #THANKSforGIVINGmeSHIT

I am giving them 3 stars as encouragement for them to make some improvements, and not to discourage anyone from shopping there. The service is a little slow at least late night when I go there. I had a coupon that this store gave me for filling out a review when they first opened. It took forever to process the coupon and there was only one manager on duty that we had to wait for to approve the transaction. It would help if this store would have at least two people on the floor that can help with special over rides on their sales.
The bathroom was a bit messy. Toilet paper all over the floor and no seat covers for the toilet seats. If you are going to be open late, you need to have your floor crew checking the bathrooms and keeping them tidy.
The employees seem very nice. So that is a plus.
This is not really a super store in the sense of the store in Woodburn. It seems to have a smaller footprint so that sections are much smaller then other super stores. Still its nice to have this store closer then the other superstores for getting basic supplies. I found the clothing department disappointingly small. The Walmart on 82^nd has more dedicated clothing space. The problem may be that this Walmart is also trying to be a grocery store so they gave up clothing aisles to add groceries.
I believe that you can order things on line for pickup at this store, and save shipping costs. This might be another beneficial way to shop here which doesn’t require more product space.

Looks nice and new, just as it should. For some reason I expected it to be crowded but it wasn’t at all. I’m not sure if it was like this all day but when I was there in the evening, there were no registers open. Zero. Dozens of people walking around trying to find a cashier but there were none. Finally a manager came up and said the registers were closed. Then he had to run back to another department.
They finally were able to get a register working in the electronics department, and I must say the cashiers back there did great with the crash course in 30 second checkouts.
It would have been very helpful if they could have sent some of the extra cashiers to stand by the main registers and let people know where to pay. Or if they could have made a public announcement.
They are more expensive than winco and they didn’t have what I needed. I’ll probably be back though.
