Beautiful patio overlooking the picturesque vines. Very knowledgeable tasting director will help you pick the wines to taste based on your preferences. The owners are so friendly. Definitely spend a relaxing afternoon here.

Spent the afternoon overlooking the vineyards and with the owners. Carl the winemaker and owner was nice enough to let us taste his 2014 Malbec still in barrel and scheduled to be released in bottle Jan 2016. The views, wines and hospitality are wonderful, also ask for the homemade crackers… amazing! Highly recommend a stop here.

This place is the most gorgeous winery I’ve been to in Georgia thus far. Granted it’s in the middle of nowhere, and if you blink you’ll miss it, but once you find it you’ll want to hang out for awhile. Stonewall Creek Vineyards is operated and owned by a retired physician and his wife. This is a SMAL winery, no bigger than a minute as the old folks used to say. However, the outdoor space and the building that holds the tastings is so immaculate and well designed, that you’d think you we’re someplace other than West Bumble, Georgia. Tastings are reasonable, around 5 – 6 tastes for $ 10. Unfortunately this isn’t a tasting for anyone looking to catch a buzz. The wines were light on the alcohol content. As for the wine quality, only one really stood out among the rest in terms of taste and smoothness. But as a whole you can tell the wines were crafted with love. If you’re looking for a non-stuffy and thoroughly educating wine tasting, in a pretty setting, Stonewall Creek Vineyards is the place. P. S. I’d suggest stopping by a local market and bringing a picnic basket with you, for after your tasting to enjoy. You’ll thank me later.
