Our 21+ year old Genie overhead garage door opener finally bit the dust, and we decided we wanted someone local to repair or replace after reading mixed reviews about the hard sells and expensiveness from some of the corporate organizations! We definitely made the right choice with Dave at AAA Overhead in Tijeras! He gave us a lot of info over the phone, a tentative estimate even if we needed to replace, and made an appt. Time with us. He called the next day as scheduled and even came early! He checked our equipment and gave us the info about a repair or a replacement and let us choose! We chose to replace and he came right in at his previous estimate of $ 400. which included several added other parts! He is a quiet, focused, completely competent, professional, hardworking gentleman– job was completed in a couple of hours! We have a whole new system including lights, wall switch with many options and safety features, and 2 remotes. We can’t believe how quiet the system is after our ancient, creaky old one! We would recommend Dave and AAA Overhead without reservation to everyone– he’s a Keeper!
