Tilghman Island Marina

Didn’t actually rent from them, but Nancy was super helpful and knowledgable regarding the area! Excellent customer service!

On a whim we rented a tandem kayak. The keener, Ron was very personable and eager to accommodate. He provided us with a map of trails. Equipment was in good shape and we enjoyed our time.

I found out about this place on Unilocal and took a chance and reserved a boat for a full day over the telephone. The owners Ron and nancy could not be more accommodating. They are super knowledgable about the area. And give you lots of insider tips. Their equipment is top notch and impeccably kept. I had one of the most enjoyable days I had in a long time.

A lovely spot to pickup a kayak, bike or small power boat to enjoy by land or sea. The marina staff are patient and have the kind of local knowledge a visitor needs to have a safe trip. The equipment is clean, up to date and in good working order. Even the life preservers were a perfect fit.
The kayak loops they suggest are idyllic. There is plenty to see along the way and even a beach to pull up on for a picnic.
Remember to bring your camera and to stop en route for a bag lunch to make the day complete.

The marina is small and quiet and is located in a new neighborhood on the western most tip of Tilghman Island. Slips hold beautiful views of the bay and marsh. The restrooms are clean and convenient. The pool is just lovely with a neatly landscaped border. They have kayaks and jet skis for rent and the marina grounds are well maintained. The only inconveniences are a lack of a washer/​dryer and they are a bit of a walk to the nearest decent restaurant at the bridge. It doesn’t take long to walk but there are no sidewalks and you have to walk passed a few homes where their dogs run off leash. Dogs were friendly but a little unsettling at first. The owners are super nice. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again. The marina is easy to get in and out of and their barrier does an amazing job of breaking the wakes from the traffic coming thru Knapps Narrows. We stayed in the slip just under their sign and boats came plowing into the narrows to escape the bad weather on the bay. We hardly felt a thing. Very protected,

We rented some kayaks here on my recent vacation. Everyone was friendly and polite, the equipments was in great condition, and they took care to show us a good route to take.
The area is awesome to kayak around, lots of creeks, and great for bird and other nature watching.
